Final Boss?
It had an achievement for beating every boss, yet the last one was titled “Final Boss” and it had a pic of Vergil. I think that was the title, I don’t remember but I clearly remember seeing Vergil’s grin as the reward icon.
I guess Bloody Palace made the game too hard for casuals.
But it’s okay because the removal of Bloody Palace subtracts NOTHING from the gaming experience.

oh this character shows more than one emotion, oh is just against oh he is just emo, no hes more complex then the 1 dimensional character you like ( this argument comes a lot when talking about shadow and sonic the hedgehog)
and don’t get me wrong, i think new Dante has horrid writing and he comes off as kinda of a cunt
but man people misuse the words angst and emo, way too much and wrong
i also think the old Dante’s character while better written, wasn’t much to shake a stick at , hell Dante didn’t become a character until devil may cry 3, until then he was just some cool dude doing stuff in old European towns and castles
hell we didn’t know what was going on until dmc3, why do you think so many people latched on to Virgil, he offered a better character than Dante, his actions weren’t just shonen hero go with the flow bull crap, things affected him, things affecting is the reason why he was that way. in that same vain i while i like OG Dante but i also don’t think his character wasn’t that good, i feel the same way about bayonetta, just like cool dude isn’t a character for Dante, sassy bitch isn’t a character for her either. sure her game was fun and funny, she wasn’t the most complex lady, but in female gamer circles she seems to represent something more than herself, so i can at least give her that.
though my issue with new Dante seems to be the fact that he is unlikable, like cyclops from the x men , i have read comics for a majority of my life, and i could never really get behind cyclops. he had been through some terrible stuff, but the way her was written he just came off robotic this manufactured play by the rules kinda guy, wolverine admired him for it. but AvX happened i could finnaly relate to him, the writing was better and it just clicked.
i felt sorry for the guy, he had done what he was told all his life and it never worked out for him. his wife was sleeping with a merman his ex girlfriend was dead and someone was trying to take one of students away to basically murder, because the avengers thought the earth was in danger. he goes nuts with phoenix power and gets a bunch of mutants back after scarlet witch (aka the girl that everyone hates) took the mutants away. but these mutants come back due to his actions, which caused everthing, will make those new mutant lives hell. cyclopes has gone insane now, he just snapped he broke out of jail and now he is just doing what he thinks is right. (whoa )
back to my point i could relate to this Dante a little better if the writing and character portrayal wasn’t so bad

Seeing all this leaked footage doesn’t put things in the right context though seeing white haired NT Dante is a bit weird just cause it looks like Dante just put on a White wig. Still renting this game though.

I remember home boy went about stating the leak and what happens end game. So far, everything he stated has been true, even including the gifs PublicEnemy posted in the past.
Supposedly he looks in the mirror and just says, “Not in a million years” and throws the wig.
Honestly, I kind of like the references.
Kind of reminds me of X-Men 1 movie where wolverine makes fun of their customers and cyclopes responses with something like, “You think we’d look better in yellow spandex” or something.

It’s still sort of amazing that Itsuno didn’t want to work on DMC5 because there wasn’t anything interesting he could do with the franchise, so they hired a third-party western dev, and then chose to fly people from Japan back and forth to the UK because apparently what NT was doing wasn’t good enough. All of it just so they could end up remaking the plots from DMC1 and 3 but with worse story, worse visuals, and worse combat.
Reminds me of the time I missed the bus to the gym, so I chased that bus for miles and ended up running to the gym, and then felt stupid for going to the gym to run.
He went on to make Dragon’s Dogma, which had spells and shit that were pretty crazy to begin with, so he’s obviously not even close to tapped out of ideas. There’s obviously still a lot that they can still do to expand the DMC franchise, but I think he just wants to work on other projects and spouts a lot of random stuff in all the interviews people ask him about DmC. He probably didn’t want to end up like Hideo Kojima, being forced to make 1 game for the rest of his life

I think his original meaning, and the one a lot of people inferred, was that Capcom wasn’t open to any new ideas for DMC. They tried Nero and it didn’t really work, but it’s not like Capcom to distinguish between a bad idea and bad execution, even though by now they’ve had plenty of experience with both. Instead they got some dudes who are pretty well known (for mixed reasons), told them to have a new take on DMC, realized they hired a bunch of morons and what they had was awful, so then they flew Japanese people over to make the game they wanted to make in the first place, except worse. You just know the guy who put jump canceling and just frames in the game wasn’t the same dude who designed the control scheme and the “platforming”.
