while i dislike DmC it did have some ideas i liked
Dante fighting the government/media, for me made sense he is a private investigator who on his last adventure destroyed a whole religion and a huge catholic like church. what he does has to attract some attention right?
and the moving levels seem look a good idea for like an area theme, if say they were to make a dmc5 and your adventure was separated in different areas and limbo city was one of them, i would bite.
that said their are a slew of ideas in this game that shite, but those two sounded good to me
did i mention i hate the fact that now nero was gone, the only character in dmc history with actual character development and had to get acclimated to situation, even question his faith is gone now.
and before you say Dante and Virgil had character development, we didn’t know exactly what was going on till dmc3, it was just Dante going on vague adventures and he was the son of some demon guy. then in dmc 3 oh he has a story, in dmc4 oh their are other people, hmm expanding the world of dmc, that’s good.
DMC2 is less of a bad game but a lot more of an unsatisfying game(i.e combat blows because of the weapon selection is ass). Being the worst in the series doesn’t means it’s ass. DmC cannot take the title of the worst in the series until the game is officially released.
At first I thought it was a coincidence, but even the sounds of weapons being used & atmosphere are straight DmC. Or should I say straight Alice: Madness Returns. AMR>DmC, honestly that game looks fun…
Edit: Further examination shocks me even more, the dramatic slowdown for dodges and certain melee attacks have been taken as well. We could say they were “inspired” by AMR yet the team has never mentioned this game in their interviews. I think it would be logical to conclude that they blatantly copied this games aesthetics from a combat perspective.Too many coincidences…too many. Maybe JUST maybe there are some former AMR devs who now work with Ninja Theory…just maybe.
This game is DmC no longer, I dub this game Alice May Cry.
You’re arguing against facts. the only thing you’re correct about DMC2 is that it was indeed bad, but only as a sequel. If I can’t sugar coat the game then you shouldn’t over exaggerate on how bad the game was.
Your just saying it’s a bad game just for the sake of saying it. Your argument is no better than Capcom and some reviewers only thinking fans hate DmC solely due to Dino’s hair. You are out of touch with the subject and have no clue what you’re taking about. Just because a group of people keep saying the same thing along with no proof can’t automatically mean it’s true. It’s not the EGM April Fools joke about Shen Long and yet a ton of gamers fell for that.
We were all suppose to be dead days ago right? Oh, wait. I thought what everyone claims to be true has to be true…
Back up your claims first. I’ve done that already and continuing to do that. look up the vids while I finish up the last one.
anyway since “the game isn’t out yet” defense still exist then we still get more “evidence” as in gameplay vids:

Could just be a case of both games using the Unreal Engine 3 and possibly pulling from the same stock sound library. Seeing how many UE3 games look like exactly like horse manure dipped in caramel, I imagine it could just be the easiest way to make a game in that engine.
Still, it’s more likely that they copied it exactly.
