But on the topic of the PC release, if you *must *have DmC, it’ll still be the version to get, not only just for having the proper framerate. A ton of people are familiar with Unreal 3 (why it still gets used so often even though seemingly everyone agrees that it looks awful on consoles), which means that there’ll probably be mods for this game. I’m sure the DMC community would be able to refine the mechanics and make a proper game out of it, like what the Civ community did with Civ5.
I’ve heard that DMC4’s MT engine is actually optimized for PC, can anyone confirm this? Marvel 3 and Dragon’s Dogma uses it too, which is kind of baffling that Capcom hasn’t ported those over as well. I can sorta understand if Marvel doesn’t want people to be making nude or dickgirl mods or something, but it seems like DD was built to be a PC game.

Enemies do normal damage and they aren’t any more aggressive than usual.

DMC4 PC is 66% off ($6.79) on Steam sale right now. It’s a really old title so I don’t think it’ll be on a flash or feature sale for any lower, but you never know.

I hate to say it but I’m becoming less impressed with the level design the more I see. The Club is cool for a few seconds but the flashing lights start to hurt my eyes and it seems like a lot of places are just platforms suspended over giant pits.

DMC3 was called Dante’s Awakening for a reason(s): it was a prequel and Dante had to fight his brother damn near to the death to get his DT “awakened”.
In DMC2, he had his DT from the get-go. They only had you get stones for attributes a la RPG instead of Devil Arms changing his DT base on which DA was equipped.
this version he has to hit a damn statue to get it? are you serious?! then he “becomes like” OG Dante?! GTFO. This “DT” is the absolute worst DT ever used in the history of the franchise.
It’s basically the more and more we see, the more and more this game will NEVER be a great game at all.
I dunno, I don’t see how a game starring Anakin from the Star Wars prequels getting powers from the Engineer from Prometheus has any potential for disappointment.
Its all opinion though. For you, this game is shit(understandably so to a point). For someone else though, they may feel this is a pretty good game. Looking at it objectively from all the videos, it’ll be a decent game. Could it be good once people experience the full game? Its a possibility.
