Devil May Cry!

That’s why Raiden became a Cyborg Ninja. There’s only room for ONE fluffy-haired whiny obnoxious sissyboy in THIS town

I don’t lol, just tired of the whining

With a girlfriend like Rose (or at least AI Rose) I don’t blame him for being whiny and obnoxious. Bitch wouldn’t even let you save if you annoyed her.

The whole Arsenal Gear segment is easily one of the best/most memorable moments in all of video gaming.

“Raiden I saw someone leaving Rose’s place in the middle of the night”

Breaking the 4th wall “Turn your console off, you’ve been playing too long” “You’ll wear out your eyes playing too close to the T.V. screen.” “Don’t worry, it’s a game! It’s a game just like usual!” " “Honestly though, you have been playing the game for a long time. Don’t you have anything else to do with your time?”"

I NEED SCISSORS 61

Shit was seriously a mind fuck when it happened.

Steam got a DmC pre-purchase bundle up. You can get DmC, DMC3 and DMC4 for $60. The master race is better off just getting 3 & 4 when they go on sale in a few days

Steam knows DmC ain’t worth full price? Yoooooo

This is pretty fucking hilarious. The best part is that Capcom is going to count that entire bundle as one whole DmC purchase.

Hideo Kojima is a master manipulator, he knows, he’s watching

The fact that console gamers are still expected to pay $60 for a technically inferior version of a game is fucking retarded.

The shotgun was helpful in DMC4… it was good for stopping enemies in their tracks that liked to sling projectiles(those damn ice enemies), and for getting rid of that shroud on shadow enemies(just rapid fire that shit by jump canceling off those enemies since its the easiest one to do it on)…

It was not good nor was it designed for combo purposes, but it was good for general gameplay usage… especially for those who just wanted to beat the game and weren’t really concerned about the extra shit…

Due to being sub 60 FPS, I’d assume that a shotgun that pushed back would disrupt the gameplay a little too much, because going after distant enemies is a bit of a chore in DmC… I can’t really knock the decision…

But still guns, aren’t even really good for combos anymore… the transition from sword to gun in previous DMC games were way quicker… guns were already useless, now they are even more useless(Nero upgraded gun is a huge exception btw, it’s quite broken if you keep a full charge on it at all times… heads up)…

Not sure if I agree with this.

Jump cancelling is VERY practical, in fact crucial on enemies on higher difficulties like the chess pieces. They cant even hit you if you know how to JC properly.

And for beginners with a handle on the advances techniques TRICKSTER is definetely the best style. You get a jump with invincibility that cancels into an airdash, another jump and then a teleport that tracks to the nearest enemy…that you can jump cancel off of and airdash again…

DMC3 and DMC4 are really the shit.

DmC is going to tank hardcore.

That scared the shit out of me. It didn’t help that I just so happened to be having a crack session when that scene came up.

Also, as far as I know, DMC3 has a really awful PC port, and also PCSX2 has an issue emulating that soft focus effect that’s on most of the stages, so HD collection is still the version you’d want to get if you don’t have a PS2. DMC4 on PC is the definitive version, but it is usually atleast 50% off during the seasonal steam sales. So if you want to get DmC at a discount, I’d wait til the first big sale after release in January, it’d be atleast 33% off for a new title like DmC, if not more if the game is struggling. This pack isn’t worth it imo.

Why is the pc port of dmc4 the best way to enjoy the game? Is it cause of the graphics? How moddable it is? Or what?

Yeah I agree with scrotal_region (can’t believe I’m typing that out) the DMC3 PC port has a truckload of problems. Like lack of resolution options, poor control config etc. I’m sure there are some unofficial patches out there to fix some of these issues. DMC4 runs at a solid 60fps and cutscenes at a whopping 120fps, not to mention the new turbo mode and higher resolutions than console. DMC4 on PC is a gem and since PC and since it’s really easy to record your own gameplay (fraps etc) you can record yourself beasting in bloody palace or something.

I guarantee you that DmC will be available for less than half the price 12 months from now. If it gets players choice on steam in the summer it could drop to 12 bucks or less.

All behold the legendary Dark Knight Mode(Not making that up, it’s the actual name of the mode) in DMC4 PC edition:

^Makes the game as hard as Ninja Gaiden with the insane amount of enemies. TBH I just found out about this mode today, looks like I’m going to cop the PC version.

With the truckload of level and graphical mods on PC you’ll probably never get bored.

PC mode also has trainers so you can make a practice mode by preventing enemies from dying.

And stopping bloody palace so you can fight Creedo with Dante forever. Best boss in the game.

There’s also a trainer that lets you play through Neros levels as Dante, and vice-versa.

As a rule, you should always wait for a sale before buying something on Steam, unless you need it immediately (and I don’t think anyone needs DmC immediately, even if you’re a fan). Literally the only games that never go on discount are the most current COD games, because even Skyrim had a 30% sale day on the first big sale after release, iirc.
