once you farm that spider boss in the hallway, the game is a breeze.

You know i was actually going to give this game a chance due to the vergil dlc. It really caught my attention, and since it’s free for pre ordering it i said what the hell. I sadly had to cancel my pre order due to game stop playing with me! So i went friday to put another 20 bux on the reservation, so the lady working there takes my money and like ol gamestop she asks me for my power up member card. I tell her i don’t have one(it’s been years since i sign up to their rewards program since im no longer interested in Gi magazine) and she’s all like you do realize if you have the power up membership you get the vergil dlc for free!o_O im like umm i tought i get that and the weapon skin just for preordering. She’s like nope regulars just get the skins!! So i just cancelled my preorder i think im going to look into amazon and see if they offer the vergil dlc for pre ordering… Hahaha the the dlc trailer clearly said free for pre ordering not for power up members!

No there aren’t. Triangle is brilliant for jump your thumb is always over it. Just spend time retraining yourself to it.
How do you farm the spider boss in the hallway as it chases you? I never could do it.

He only shoots fireballs so just run to the very end of the hall way. Eventually he will stop chasing and just shoot fireballs at you in a predictable, methodical manner. Just bat them back in his face or jump over them and helm breaker. DT to tank his ass.

Just grind out some Blue and Purple Orbs and a couple moves and a little emergency money but otherwise don’t spend too much time on it.
Yeah. The biggest hill to climb over seems to be the first Nelo Angelo battle. The game seems to go rather smoothly after that.

I found DMC3 more difficult than DMC1, personally. I never found DMC1 difficult ever, and I’ve been through it many a time since its release on PS2.
