3rd VS game = MSH vs SF, widely known as probably the worst Vs game (depending on how you feel about Vanilla MvC3).
3rd Alpha Game = SFA3. Yeah… Even if you count A2 Gold, most people I’ve seen consider Original A2 as the best.
Third SF4 game = Original AE…yeah.
Hyper Fighting and 3rd Strike are more the exception than the rule.
We know exactly what they’re going to do with DmC… Vergil’s Downfall ring any bells? (By the way, props for ‘spoiling’ the dramatic Vergil heel turn that no one saw coming in this grand, Shakespearian story of yours, guys) Can’t wait to pay for skins and weapons that are already on the disc as well.
Seriously, you guys defending this thing need to step your game up. I know Ninja Theory didn’t give you much to work with, and MGR just pulled a Marquez and jolt countered your shit this past week, but c’mon, try harder…
Pre-order DLC, especially when it’s literally only available through pre-order (looking at you SEGA and Yakuza 3) is INFINITELY more annoying than “on disc” DLC. Seriously, DLC is made during the same window regardless if it’s on disc or not (after the game is has to be sent to get tested). Why does it matter if it’s on disc or a bigger downloadable file.
Make pre-order stuff posters or art books or something, make new copies come with DLC that’s like “thanks for buying new and not used” and have it available in the store/marketplace so the used guys aren’t fucked out of content.
I actually did forget about MSH. But if I did skip both XCOTA and MSH, MvC1 also isn’t very highly regarded. But I’m not a douche like that, I’ll take the L where necessary.
The maps were a $1 each. That shit is a steal compare to the bullshit prices other games sell their maps for. I play the hell out of them. I got my money’s worth
What, you mean to counter all the compelling ad homonim, circular logic and all the blatant goal post moving. Please. If anything you need to step up ya’lls hate. It’s pretty dry, sounding more recycled and falling on deafer ears by the day. Positive buzz around this game is deserved.
We obviously won’t agree on much of anything in this thread (except for SFxT is ass), so really it’s only pass fail is if there will be sequel murmurings/sales. As BLOPSII clearly indicates, sales don’t equal quality, but good sales for DmC will be an indicator that I was right in the sense that the hate fire for the game was small and contained mostly among DMC fanboys who simply can’t handle the changes, not people who have any legit beef with the game. Then if there’s talk of a NT sequel, that’s really all I want, a continuation on this version of the Devil May Cry world and a chance to see what else NT can do with the franchise.
If I want Capcom’s version of the gameplay I’ll just pick up HD Collection.
Semi related (though it shouldn’t be, derailing ass niggas), I don’t MGR particularly mind blowing like you people. Perhaps you’re just tooting it’s horn harder than you would did you didn’t make it a priority to belittle this game. Looks great, don’t get me wrong but I come to DMC/Bayo for a reason. They’re really the upper echelon in their specific niche in the action genre. Not to say MGR isn’t, but goddamn it’s a ninja that literally just slices things to pieces. Ryu Hayabusa much? I don’t understand so much talk of the game in THIS thread.
Not when it’s accurate. An ad hom has to have no basis.
When the basis is “You’re too close to the source material so it’s hard/impossible for you to look at this fairly and objectively” the term is quite accurate.
ad hominem means that you’re attacking a person instead of their argument, the point isn’t whether it’s true. Basically you are admitting that your argument is “this game is good because people who have shitty opinions don’t like it”, which is a trash-tier argument.
Yes, because one opinion a person holds certainly invalidates everything else they have to say. Once again mature discussion by perfectly reasonable people…
What a trivial cunt you are. You stay classy, homo.
