I really want to say something DmC related to stay on topic, but nothing new has came up as of late.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, what can you be hiding from us, Capcom…

More shit in a paper bag perhaps? Or another round of on-disk DLC?
I should really stop… Barrel+Fish+Gun = TOO EASY/Nash out
I think that they already admitted that this game would have on-disk DLC
Last game to have it from my understanding.
I feel like I have already seen all that DmC can offer in terms of gameplay, unless there is a secret weapon that makes the game more fun somehow (Yamato?). With the infinite juggle system not doing much to interest me, I don’t have much reason to play this game. Some of the areas look pretty neat, but almost all of the enemy designs don’t. I doubt the story-line will do much to interest me either.
yeah whatever you say. Let me guess…you played SFxT for a couple of hours and immediately deemed it shit and have never touched it again. Yet i’ve played the game since launch damn near consistently everyday and find it to be pretty good. But hey what do I know right. This is SRK where people automatically say shit is garbage because someone says so. Fuck what was I thinking.
Bandwagon hate for SFxT on full effect. Never change
Didn’t they already apologize for on disc DLC stating it was going to end with Dragons Dogma?
Any game that was already in production was gonna have it. RE6, Dragons Dogma, and DmC. They stated that specifically at the Evo 2012 panel.
People elected to ignore that bit of information and still gave Capcom shit.
The massive patch coming speaks for the quality of SFxT
“I bet you’re the guy who played it and didn’t like it and stopped playing.”
Nobody is continuously playing something they don’t like unless they’re paid for it, wtf kind of comeback was that.
I meant in the sense that even if they didn’t like it for personal reasons, it doesn’t mean that the overall game is bad like they made it out to be.
I’m not a fan of the Persona games and they don’t appeal to me like that but i’m not gonna say its a shit game though.
Like it isn’t par for the course for Capcom to redo a game? How many times have they actually gotten a Fighting Game right on the first try?
So they admitted it’s on disc but we still have to pay, that’s even worse than being sneaky about it. After that whole shit storm you’d think that they would at least give this already in production on disc content to people for free. Not that all DLC should be free, but in Capcom’s case that would have been an excellent opportunity to wipe some of the egg of their face, no wonder people elected to ignore it and still give them shit.
Well they did give the RE6 stuff for free and we don’t know what they’re gonna do with DmC. Knowing the amount of negativity on DmC, it wouldn’t shock me if they made the on disc dlc free through a patch like RE6.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but on PSN at least, I see RE6 maps with prices tags next to them.
EDIT: Also don’t you have to pay for the Vergil DLC if you don’t pre-order?
Exactly.
Maybe the second try will be good but you know what they say, the 3rd Strike is what counts. Hyper Fighting was the 3rd SF2.
The on disc DLC was the first and last straw. It’s like the game was glitchy from the beginning but many felt like the On disc content was piling it on.
I don’t like the idea of always having to buy new discs for tweaks and major updates to the roster.
I was speaking in terms of the other stuff that was on-disc that Capcom made free. Besides aren’t the maps like 1.00 or something?
Depends back in the day you actually needed another catridge/rom to implement the changes. Nothing necessarily gamebreaking about each version before the last.
I’m still paying if I want the shit, Capcom said “no more on disc DLC”, so their claim is bullshit. Vergil is also paid if you don’t pre-order.
