If Capcom was putting everything on DMC4SE…they would also release that shit on ps3 and 360. The content added to the game is nothing last-gen can’t do. Wtf, Capcom? Most of your fans haven’t made the leap to next-gen yet and you fuckin’ KNOW it. If sf5 was available now the story would be different, but as it is, DMC5 is doomed.

Honestly Capcoms been killing it on the digital front Strider was a killer REvelations been a killer seller RE HD #1 seller for a while USF4 is gonna be 25 Digitally so I’m assuming its gonna sell well
Even last gen the 2 Bionic commandos and and the 2 megaman games were some of the highest selling digital games of the generation
They’re finding their niche of selling games at between that 15 to 40 dollar price point and its becoming their strong suit So I’m actually really confident in the potential profits of a digital only DMC4.

Well, that’s generally how it works. Why would a publisher invest millions of dollars into a sequel project when the first project didn’t perform the way they needed it to? It makes no business sense.

I don’t think Darkstalkers is a fair comparison, that series was never popular in the states. The DMC franchise has made capcom quite a bit more money, and we’re not talking two decades ago like DS.

Damn, I hate when games I want have no physical release. I’m not anti digital or anything, but I prefer to download indie games or games smaller in size. I have a external HDD and it’s already 50% full including the internal HDD. I also just really like having copies of a game.
I fucking already payed to import that special edition pizza box… So yeah, there’s my vote.
