and DMC4 SE sales would also determine if DMC5 gets a AAA class budget. Would be phenomenol having Itsuno making another DMC masterpiece.
Is the DMC/Capcom fanbase going to let this series sink just like they let Darkstalkers be placed in the “irrelevant” shelf Capcom has back there?
(signatures don’t talk like money does. it’s embarrassing everyone requested Darkstalkers 4, but then were too cheap to buy Darkstalkers Resurrection
when Capcom was testing the waters before determining if Darkstalkers franchise is in big demand. Well everyone sure bought Resident Evil HD Remaster
even though it was practically the same story as the Gamecube version, just like 2 new costumes added, and yet it still sold over a million digitally,
breaking all digital store records.)
DMC4 SE marks the crossroads to which direction the series will go, or not go.

DMC4 SE success would help the series get back on track. Will DMC4 SE sell more than DmC SE? it’s up to the communities.
Honestly, DMC4 SE should sell more than Resident Evil 6. at least DMC4 is faithful to the series.
and the best DMC tiers are:
DMC4 > DMC3:SE > DMC 1 > DMC2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DmC
or if you don’t like DMC4 the most:
DMC3: SE > DMC4 > DMC1 > DMC2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DmC
so DMC4SE can only be as good or better than DMC3:SE
If anyone has more DMC4 SE info they can share it here too.
Anyone here that is a DMC series fan, DMC franchise needs our support more than ever in the west.
import sales won’t help localized sales, so people really should know the bigger market, the west, is
where the sales will have the most influence. Of course can’t depend on Japan market much since most over
there don’t have PS4/Xbox One, and most in that region don’t game on PC either.
So it’s up to the west to really show how much support and the demand the gamers have for this series,
like Resident Evil and Street Fighter received such faithful support from the consumers to keep development incentives strong
(RE got off track, but that’s because more people bought RE4 instead of Remake and Outbreak.)
If you disagree and expect more, like a physical release, well, you are harming the franchise with that nitpicky attitude.
Darkstalkers is a clear example how gamer entitlements and cookie cutter demands, don’t help a series like positive sales do.
If SF and RE fans were that picky on how they get their games, the series would have been dropped back in the ps3 gen.
**Obviously we aren’t going to just buy anything Capcom throws our way,
of course we are all smart enough to not waste money on anything DmC,
but for something like DMC4 SE, in my opinion that’s going to be the best day 1 purchase since DMC3:SE and DMC4.**
So before you think of skipping this or importing, think about the future of DMC, if you consider yourself a DMC fan
and want DMC5 to be more like the proper series.
So this is a message from a DMC fan, if you think this is just marketing drivel, then I guess everyone that publicly expresses
their positive opinions and enthusiasm toward something, are marketers in some fashion.
**
Everyone decides if they’ll buy something and how they’ll buy it,
but like the franchises raised and the franchises left behind,
it’s really on the consumers hands where DMC goes from here, and affects how important this series is to Capcom,
which in turn determines whether fans get more of what they want out of DMC series, and help that legacy continue. **
