Most excellent!

Although, HDR should be set up on a 360 IMO

The PS3 version seems to have some sort of strange lag issue (offline or otherwise). I also think the majority of people that play it, do so on the 360 for Xbox Live.

Will Jad be there?

Sounds awesome. HYPE HYPE HYPE!

this should be stickied.

Just curious, there have been lots of complaints about the PS3 version of SFHD from the people who own both the PS3 and the 360. Is there a reason it’s not going to be played on the 360? Especially when Gears of War 2 is xbox exclusive, so we know the systems are available.

Otherwise, I’m super stoked for this event. Can’t wait!

The initial reason behind this was due to sticks for everyone. converters for ppls existing sticks were easier to come by. If there is a playability issue between versions, we will have to review this. My understanding was that the issues were only online. Am i incorrect?

We can make any changes we like - we flexible like that. Most people usually prefer the games on the PS3 as opposed to the 360 because of converters/sticks. We will wait and see what the majority reactions are. Who knows what patches will be out by then.

I am interested to see how SFIV plays out with the version war as well… This may be an Xbox360 landslide… heh.

Darn it… as I am typing this Cham gets in there… oh well… posting anyways…

Sabre or some of the other AZ guys can hopefully weigh in on this one, they mentioned CR’s PS3 setup was not optimal. I think I will do some playtesting myself. If Robb wants, maybe we could put up a poll or something asking what people want as far as versions go, and ask people why they chose that system. Also figure out which custom stick base is larger (I imagine it would be playstation, but you never know).

I would assume most people will want the PS3 HDR so they can use their own sticks. Unless there’s some big 360 movement when SF4 hits, a vast majority of people have PS2/3 sticks and no 360 stick.

Not to mention that pad players will undoubtedly prefer the PS3 version since the 360 pad is ridiculously unresponsive.

naw man… they fixed the controllers years ago…

No that was the original Xbox controller! We have no grizzly bear for the 360 yet.

The issues CR had with hdremix might have had nothing to do with the version of the game (ps3/360) but the kinds of output settings and the types of tvs the game was run on.

JEDIROBB and crew run a sick sick sick tourney. i hope you get a great turnout bro cause you deserve it and the players attending will have a blast as usual.
