I’m hoping that somebody will be willing to guide me around and explain all of the other fighters for me. I’m pretty much newb at anything non-smash, but I enjoy watching.

If peeps want - we can have Smash up for the tourney and then swap out Brawl for all the casual stuff (on the 65")… it is not a big deal to me, personally, and it is all about the people!

Either way, PCC was way too close. I’m fine with taking a day off, personally. We’ll see on Friday (payday) if I can afford a trip. Dollar menu food is fine, I live off that, it’s if I have enough to spend on gas to make it down there, really…that and if my ride is willing to drive down there. The pains of not owning my own vehicle.
As for the GG players, its just me and my buddies that play up here. The GG scene in Flag is dismal. Without other ppl really to play against, I’m not too sure how we would compare, but the chance to play against other ppl besides social convention players would be nice. We (my team) did take 3 of the top 4 spots in GG at PCC, but against real tournament players, that’s what I want us to compete against.
We do have plans to hit up Evo this year, though.

i got one question, but in CvS2. will roll canceling be allowed? cause i personally think its a cheap noobish thing to do. Someone told me that it was going to be allowed and if it is then im dropping out of the tourney. I mean how would you like to be playing and you do a move which its a for sure hit and he roll cancels you and you lose the match. i just find it unfair. In my tourney i always had automatic disqualification if you were caught using it, but i dont know how or what your rules are… well thanks… late.
are you kidding me? rc is accepted in any real tourney. that just sounds really scrubby bro. these tourneys are for tourney players, aint no way in hell its being banned. we remove rc, and it just keeps the players scrubs and prevents them from doing well at the majors. i can understand if you dont like it, but its not broken, by any means.
if the move is a “for sure” hit, he shouldnt be able to have a chance to rc it regardless. and its not like rc is noob friendly. and not every character even needs it…cough…sagat…cough. lets be real, rc in cvs2 is no worse than shotos having invincible dp in sf2. its the exact same thing, yet shoto wasnt dominant. it just makes the game more generic and homogenous.
