Looks good to me, i’m excited for it.
Can’t wait to test out parries, forbidden shoryuken and Denjin.

I’m not going to ask for anything more, cause it won’t happen.

We’re losing the long range round ender/ game changer fierce palm. When used alognside a wakeup fireball, teleporters had to think twice. Now we’ll have to think froward dash middle palm.

With things staying the way they are super-cancelled Counter should do 495 damage. At least when you do it on a grounded opponent. 3 frame start up means it should be snagging people with the first hit.

Gouken’s changes were overall good. While I used him in the 2012 Mod,I had the feeling I was finally playing a “complete” character… and yeb’s mod didn’t have his faster denjin.

Maybe even after a palm. Can you get the first hit after a palm? I forgot.

EDIT: Which is why I was clamoring for JP1. If you could juggle after palm or two hit j.mp for full damage you’d actually have a reason to save for Super.

How do you guys like this new mix up with super? if you try to attack you get countered into super. if you try to throw you get hit with super.

This is my LAST post and complaint about changes because everything is final and its pointless to complain now.

Is clear the the developers dont see eye to eye with the community. The japanase asked for the same changes as us pretty and we got few of them.

Honestly I wanted.

-Air parry 4 frames
-Faster charge on 2 hit hadou
-Cr mp hit stun increased
-Ability to cancel charge hadou
I wont even dare asked for overhead dive kick ever again after what happened to akuma HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Whatever. Those are all buffs. However THINGS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION AND THAT IM CURRENTLY VERY FUCKING UPSET WITH IS…

-NO FIXS AT ALL TO REGULAR TASTU’S
-NO FIX TO PEOPLE BEING ABLE TO AVOID KONGO’S EVEN WHEN ACTIVATED

These are the 2 things im very upset capcom did not even look at. People SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO AVOID KONGO WHEN ITS BEEN ACTIVATED .

Lk tastu SHOULD NOT BE DROPING PEOPLE AT ALL.

If capcom had fixed lk tastu I would have so much respect for them right now but whatever. Im done. We got our final changes and we have to deal with them.

Im thinking in AE I will be playing Gouken, Ken, and Bison.

Hell, these changes are alright i just hope there are not any shortcut bugs or negative stealth changes.

These changes are “meh” to Gouken. It’s frustrating to wait months — mostly to find out about a few tweaks to his normals.

Future SF games need a way of being balanced by the community without a complete reliance on the developers. I have no idea how to do that, but it’s an idea that I’d like to hear more about.

Also, I do not want Akuma nerfed (his moveset was just fine in AE) so my character can have an easier time. Give my character the fundamental tools he was missing from the beginning instead.

Vanilla was a great start to the series at least.

easier to nerf the top down to earth, rather than bring the bottom half of the cast up, I guess.

Nerfing one to reality is much easier than trying to get the bottom half buffed up to where the top half is without overdoing it.

I’m content with the changes Gouken got. The reality is that there still isn’t a Gouken out there who is really doing anything with the character. Tbh, after some thought, I kinda fear the idea of Gouken having more buffs because you never know how big of an impact everything actually is until the dust all settles after time.

Are there any news to hidden changes yet for Gouken?

Could the new lightning speed Denjin work as anti fireball tool similar to Ryu’s Super in a fireball war?

Damn right it can, that shit is Super Fast.

So does the new Denjin require full 360 spins to charge faster? If so those of us playing on stock pads might actually have an advantage.

The wording i’ve seen is “shake”, so i assume it’s just back and forth.

On the subject of Denjin…Idk if anyone else checked this out, but I did damage calcs for cl.HP xx EX senku, Denjin Lvl2 (In the case that we do get this as a combo due to the ability to speed up Denjin).

With max Ultra, 502 damage, 700 stun. :3
