Goukens throw already hits standing and crouchers, if it caught airborne as well it’d be silly. The airborne command grabs have a history of only catching 2 options(gouken and akuma catch crouchers and standing, cammy and guy catch airborne and standing). Don’t be greedy for all three heights and I sure as hell wouldn’t want to sacrifice catching crouchers for airborne instead

Wow Ultra 2 is fast lol. Also Lp palm range hit hakan from pretty far away although Im sure hakans hit box is huge. We need to c an actually hitbox so we can determine how much better it is.
LP palm is better, that is all I am asking. it got better. I am happier. Maybe not entirely happy but certainly happier
Also U2 look like it can punish -everything-. It is at least as fast as EX sonic boom or Ryu’s HP super. I won’t be surprised if it can hit off a mid screen palm with that kind of speed.
Also, please don’t diss Tatsu. lk.tatsu is VERY usable as anti-air. If you hit at the right time. It is as good as a SRK. You can’t use it to get out, but that is not the move for. For it’s purpose, being anti-air. It is very good. When you hit properly you don’t need to worry about the recovery. Never use it when it will miss should be good enough.
I think the lp palm caught the f.lk. Not entirely sure it really hit that far. It might be closer then this clip suggest. But still further then before for sure.
Also Denjin speed would make it really difficult to react at this speed. If it’s damage got increased, it might become the Ultra of choice. No pure damage, but it opens up so much options. I’m certainly this will punish things like blanka ball. At least one match up that need less worry now. It probably will punish jump in too. OS ultra2 might be pretty awesome since you can tell what the opponent is doing in the animation freeze and adjust your speed to hit or not let go as soon.
LP Palm actually looks like it has good range and that Denjin was insanely fast. I may use Denjin for something besides shenanigans now. @IDO1 The Denjin got an across the board +45 damage buff. Damage ranges from 300 to 540 now. Instead of 255 to 495. A fully charged Denjin is one of the strongest ultras in the game.
Punishing blanka balls is a given + followup from ground hit. Denjin goes fast enough you can probably tag Akuma’s teleport on reaction rather than OS’ing it. Might actually be able to punish honda’s headbutt also. Should be able to OS most backdashes. This changes a lot of matchups. Can’t wait to take it to training mode.
