That would make sense considering Yun and Yang were Gen’s pupils… but I imagine that would require a lot of work in the programming department. I’d still like for it to be something special like what most of us have suggested before though.

Restrict opponent ultra meter gain by from U2’s gray dmg and I’m more than happy with its current properties.

Holy shyte I don’t remember seeing all those EX Oga Changes. It’s been so long since I’ve looked at the lists.

Speed + frame reduction is what I’m talking about.

Also that EX roll FB invincibility increase is not bad. I believe it’s currently 1-45f inv. The move from Startup to end of Active Frames is 55 Frames. So if I’m reading it correctly EX Roll is now 1-55f inv. Assuming you do the longest roll. Unless they changed the frame data cuz each version goes a different distance so the longest roll might be different now. Who knows…

the changes are cool, but so many characters got buffed.

even with these changes, gen might not be that much better off. he looks better against fireball characters for sure, but all the charge characters got buffed, and a lot of the characters that didnt give gen any problems in the lower tiers got improved. blanka looks like a ridiculous matchup now.

They apparently concluded that +4f/+8f after FADC on all versions of roll was OP. Well, there goes my imaginary combo involving a non-EX roll into a focus crumple.

Nevertheless, no nerf is relieving.

These are the final changes? Kind of disappointed that Mantis Ultra 2 is still pretty much the same.

I’m liking the meter gain to Gekiros, that’s going to help me out so much. This change alone is cause for celebration.

never used the mk gekiro, lol. Anyway the changes are really good in my opinion… and +8f for the canceled ex jyasen… mmmmmhh… love this

Time to practice using HK Gekiro as AA

To have a better chance at using HK Gekiro as AA, you can try doing the shortcut motion so Gen remains crouching before it comes out. I think it gives Gen a longer window to execute it.

I still wonder about what kind of possibilities the new EX oga offers on hit.

im thinking abel, cammy, ken, guile, yun, sakura, blanka, rufus, and vega. maybe honda too.

Yes, fireball ones (especially Akuma!) but first of all Fei and the twins :slight_smile: then Viper and Makoto. The other characters who received buffs don’t seem so much problematic to me… even though I’ll always hate Bison and Cody for sure, lol

I mostly agree. Ken will be slighlty better w/o his comboable sweep, I see Honda getting way worse with his new buffs. Guile makes me cry

I’m reading on twitter that (regarding other characters like Bison, at least) there are some minor hidden nerfs and buffs…

Or other changes may have affected the way other things work, or people misunderstood the changes originally posted. or they are hidden :stuck_out_tongue:
