I had my Grim Citizen maxed out and the Ice Breaker, I was fine. Now I’m better with the VoC.
What weapons do you guys reccomend going into the raid.
I went with maxed hard light a void fusion rifle and rockets. I did like second best on a team of mostly raid vets

Well the game decided since I complained already when I got a second icebreaker today why not give me a third one. So I guess my alts will have something to use now instead of swapping constantly.

welp, nearly friday morn game time. I gots the money, so all I need is for ol’ weed face to show up. Also, LOL@the old loot cave easter egg. “a million deaths are not enough.” Ice breaker pretty much turns anything into a good place to farm though. The drops are just pathetic. strike playlist ftw. get your shoot on and grab gear along the way. Already got half the gear needed for a lvl20 hunter and I haven’t even made one yet.

Second best is a subjective term as far as Raid goes, number of kills means fuck all especially if you have a role that does not require alot of killing.
xur should be up by now… anyone know what hes has for offer? im after a suros and some arm/leg and chest armour for my hunter… another ice breaker would be a real treat.
Xur is in the area to the right, the place with the Ship Hanger. As soon as you go down the stairs to that area, turn right, he’s by the railing.
He’s selling an Exotic Rocket Launcher called the Truth, it fires heat seeking missiles. All the armor are repeats. He also has Chest Engrams this time.
Im gonna see if i can get that rocket launcher and titan armour… i hear the rockets splash/impact damage is nuts.

Anyone want to run weekly, or weekly nightfall tonight? I spent a lot of coins just now on the armamentarium and truth. I should really level my warlock just cause self revive would make soloing nightfall easier.

I already have the truth, it is a good rocket launcher imo. It does Void Damage, i guess that i will save my strange coins this week.

it was like kills, oracle kills, i had to solo the part with the gatekeeper capture point thing because the lvl24 i was partnered with wasn’t able to damage the 28-or whatever they were-enemies. it was killing, but there was a fair amount of carrying involved
anyway, somebody talk me out of making 3 hunters. giving it serious consideration till i get all the raid gear. i find myself really not wanting to play my warlock or titan, but i keep running out of productive stuff to do.

Level 24’s can not even get into the Raid, so I am going to have to call bullshit on that one.

24 can definitely go. Join a 6 man team as a 24. Take some armor off. It wont stop you
As long as the leader is the right level he can get people in. You might have to have an account that already reached 26, but there were for sure 2 level 24s on my run
Also, that hunter helmet is legit. I dont like the way it looks, but that extra shot would comr in handy after you pop a titan bubble
All the Hunter helmets that Xur sells are great. It’s just about how you play. I prefer Bladedancer, so Mask of the Third Man is for me. I don’t use Gunslinger enough to justify buying the Symbiosis. The Radar one is great for pvp, but I have weapons that give the same effect.
I did buy the Warlock helmet just to get him to 28 so I have another character to do the weekly and daily missions with, which will get me more coins and ascendent materials.
I have to wait until the weekly reset before I can get my speeder because of the mark cap. I’ll get one of the crucible variants, they seem to have more color choices.
i dont know if this is true or not, but i was playing with a guy earlier who mentioned that apparently some people found some files in game or something like that about the next raid is gonna raise the level cap to 32 and there will be a new strike playlist that starts at level 28. this is with the first expansion pack coming later this year.
I finally got into a VoG run.
…Fuck you, VoG. WHY IN THE FUCK wasn’t I able to kill the fucking supplicants? They just wouldn’t die until they kamikaze’d us. Also, what in the great fucks is wrong with my fucking aim? I KNOW I hit some of those fucks, but to no avail. Still don’t have the first clue as to what the fuck we’re supposed to be doing against the fucker at the end, but I’m going to hang in and try again next time. FUCK you, last boss. Fuck you and all that comes with you. It just didn’t seem to matter which weapons I used, we just weren’t gonna get through. Not only that, but the teleporting thing pisses me off. You may go and eat a big dirty ass for all of that bullshit. I hope it chokes to death on the shards of glass as well. I don’t even know if the mythoclast is worth the trouble now. my brain is saying “Fuck em. enjoy the rest of the game.”, but I still want to finish it.
