Either way the gear stopped mattering. I already have jade rabbit helmet and boots, plus shader applicable racing circuit chest and gloves, all with good perks.
are there any exotic racing gear parts or bikes yet? I guess I might get one after I finish up the book, but I was wondering if there are any drops I should be on the lookout for.

I dont think there is any exotic shit, but I hear there is something you can only get exclusively from the record book. I may have spent 5 bones on the Carlton dance but Iāll be damned if I drop $10 on a book that MIGHT give me a single sparrow.

I did grab the book with some leftover silver, and yes, it was because of the carlton dance that I have leftover silver in the first place. Carlton & Thriller dance>>>>all other emotes for free. Iāll see if completing the book gives anything worthy.

my favorite kill so far is some bruv slid toward me and when they came up, just shot em in the head point blank.
I like SRL. Itās really fast paced and I like that it brought in a whole new slew of awesome Sparrows. Iām just really bad at it. Iāve noticed it helps out a lot to click the left and right sticks to change your direction mid air. Too many times have I stayed in first or second the whole race only to end up near last because I got snagged on a wall or something right before the finish line. My biggest complaint is the lack of map variety. Iāve only seen two different ones.
Has anyone gotten the SRL gear that doesnāt have ANY stats or ANY perks? Wtf is the point of those?

Thereās an SRK player list on the front page, it doesnāt say it but I play on both PS4 and Xbone. Been focusing on Xbone as of late though, so thatās where Iāll be probably for the next few months.

Iām getting really fucking tired of the 1000 Yard Aim Assist. I havent seen any other sniper rifle in weeks.
Just got Destiny earlier today and just got off work, waiting for this game to finish downloading updates and installing and shit.

I do not understand the hate for the 1000 Yard Stare. There are other snipers, from year 1 and 2 with similar or far higher aim assist base values.
The Shadow of Veils dominated Trials Year 1, but no one said anything about it. The only difference from then and now is Shotguns donāt have retarded range anymoreā¦oh thatās whyā¦
Real talk, Iād rather be sniped by a sniper, than be sniped by a Fel Winters.
Picking out a single sniper rifle to complain about is pointless, but they could really use an aim assistance nerf as a class. Itās way too easy to get drag shots with the amount of stickiness they have, I practically use my sniper rifle as my primary these days. Itās always been that way, but people whining about shotguns has always overshadowed it due to the misconception that sniper rifles are an extremely high-skill weapon, which they are not.
Thousand Yard Stare is just popular because it has the minimum impact required to snipe through revive shields and shut down active supers, but still has an average to above average aim assist stat. Itās the perfect middle ground, and there isnāt much strategic reason to go higher or lower impact, especially in game modes where reviving is enabled.
