I am most def not a raid kinda guy, especially when too many times somebody won’t have a mic, or even worse, You’ll be the ONLY one with a mic. If it’s just me Vs. whatever, I’m cool with that. I’ll hang in the 3 man because…Well, because.
Grrr…speaking of grinds, I’m hating waiting on the warsat to drop now so that I can get it in with the damn SS mission. I don’t sit still very long on these things, but might have to patrol the place hard to get my hands on the sat pieces. Hopefully luck will be with us all.

They make you a work for the gear though. My group referred to what we were doing as the one orb strat. I don’t know the specifics of the challenge, but I do know that to satisfy the requirement, on every damage pass the whole group had to get gaze. A single death meant a wipe

That’s fine. I have no issue with working for my loot. What I have issue with is spending time doing an entire raid knowing there’s a chance I could get duplicates or just plain crap. The loot you got from the challenge is equal to running an entire raid at least twice for a lot of folks.
Aside from getting my 310 cloak and my silence with the close and/or personal perk, that’s the only time the raid has given me anything good. The lighthouse and iron banner has been my sole source of high light gear up till now
They need to undo this patch. They’ve made crucible into a fucking joke. With this whole fucking game just being nothing but multi-tool now I dont have a single primary that can win in a fight against one unless they miss a couple shots. Hawkmoon, Eyasluna, Smite of Merain, Monte Carlo, Red Death, Hawksaw, Treads Upon Stars. They all lose. I go significantly negative when I never used to. I had a bad game here and there yeah. But now every fucking game I end up with .50 because Multi-tool and 1000 yard aim assist.
EDIT: Fucking seriously. I just played a game of clash. Ran into a dude at long range, he hit me once with a mida. It dropped my health bar at the top to exactly 50%. One more of those and I would have died. So they nerfed the hawkmoon bonus, and gave everybody a scout rifle that does the exact same damage as pre nerf hawkmoon, but with 3 times the range and a higher fire rate? Why did they think this was a good idea?

It should be up for another two weeks. Racing is fun if you have a lobby of your friends. Otherwise it’s just blueberries trying to shoulder check you off the track the entire match.
I just tried one race. It sucks. Mario Kart is way more fun.

I just tried one, got third place lmao. Seems like it could be a nice change of pace from the usual Crucible playlists.
I can see how it’d be more fun with a full fire team of friends, but it’s not that great solo.

If you’re on ps4 that’s pretty much non existent, if you just join the destiny communities. People are always posting on those and always have mics when I’ve played. And they’re all really helpful if you’ve never done a raid.

Only reason I am doing SRL is to get the Eververse license for the new Sparrow designs. But it is a pain in the ass simply for time input and bad players.
Pro tip for races. When you enter a gate, point at where you want to go BEFORE you hit the gate. Instead of trying to turn after and drifting off course for 50 feet, you immediately zip in the direction you want. Reduces the helpless sliding you end up with.
Well if you’re gonna compare it to Mario Kart…
IMO, The race ain’t all that tho. Like GamerGuy said, it’s a bunch of people trying to shoulder check you everywhere. Best advice I have is get in 1st place and STAY there.
In other news, I now have a sleeper simulant in my collection. I’ll have to find some way into getting the exotic sword next.

Buffed my Zhalo up to 296, enjoying this gun more than I thought I would. Combined with trying to max out Arc tree with my Hunter I have mad CC in strikes and events.
Almost have Reef peeps to level 3, and I finally got around to doing Gunsmith stuff for quests.
Didn’t play for like a month and now I can’t get off due to artificial quests and obligations.
Racing is so fucking easy.

Yeah I get 1-3 all the time. Some people are super terrible and the rest just try to bump to much and screw their own positioning. Just focusing on the track and checkpoints is the best option.
I was a little more focused on the fact that there were two people in 2nd place despite there being a gap in time between them. Ironically, You end up with the cheap horn and they got more useful stuff.
