Here is a teaser. There is some very interesting things in here. Exotic Blue Prints, Light determines armor and defense, You can only change factions once per week.
The exotic blue prints is very interesting. In an earlier video they showed what looked like a Solar Thunderlord. In the teaser they have Bad Juju and other old exotics with “year 2” version.
As far as the gjally talk from earlier, its definitely not a weapon you really want to use in pvp. Ive personally escaped the wolfpack rounds that hit my teamate many times and the main purpose of them is for static enemies with large health like bosses/majors. In pvp i’d run a thorn/vex/red death/LW/invective/truth before using galljhorn… but thats just me
as far as the twitch reveal it looks like theyre adding a lot of new stuff and changing up bounties which is great, but Im still worried about this update.
still no word on finding players IN game or about vault space.
In a month after ive started collecting all the new weapons and my friends have got bored of the update Ill be in the same position again, back on LFG sites trying to find people to play with and no place to put the shit ive collected…

True, but there’s reason behind it. To me, Destiny isn’t a game you join up and doing random stuff for fun like you would any other MMO. This is because Destiny (right now) is all about doing your weekly “chores” - Raids, Nightfalls, Weeklies, Trials on the weekend and Iron Banner once it comes around. There’s not much else to do, so there’s a lot less casual grouping compared to other multiplayer games.
Use the Destiny app and go to recruitment, or use destinylfg.net. I’ve had pretty good success with both when I’ve needed to run a quick VOG or something and nobody was online.

I’ve told folks countless times about LFG and they don’t listen. I gave up.
The only thing I’ve used the Destiny companion for is transfers between my characters, I didn’t know it could be used to find players. I’ll try that later today
its only the best gun in the game. yup i said it, for pvp hawkmoon da best exotic. only thing i would lose to consistently is the last word and thats only within the last words range. hawkmoon outranges last word.
Finally, I am become legend.
Still gotta look up where all the gold chests are - surprised I have a good amount of them already.

I hate that they have to explain things in a such drawn out, super specific manner. Not their fault, they’re forced to because people always jump to conclusions, but still annoying.

Things I can recall from the Stream…
Double Vault space
Cosmetics(shaders, emblems, ships and sparrows) have been moved to their own kiosks, they no longer take vault space.
Any cosmetic that you have earned can be pulled from the kiosk, even if you have dismantled them, you can always get them back.
Shaders that you earned are removed from the loot pool, giving you a better chance at the ones you dont have.
Exotics Blueprints work the same way as the Cosmetic kiosk. Any Exotic that you acquired will grant the blueprints, so you will always have access to it, even if you dismantled it you can retrieve it from the kiosk.
Some old Exotic weapons and Armor will have a “year 2” version with updated perks and higher attack ratings. Suros Regime, Red Death, Bad Juju and Light Beyond Nemesis were shown with a year 2 version. These year 2 versions also have a higher damage stat. The year 2 Suros Regime was black and red.
Light is now the average of your Attack and Defense.
You can dismantle a weapon to increase the attack value of a weapon you want.

Marks are now one currency. You can only hold 200 at a time, but the weekly cap is gone, you earn as many as you want.
There will be 5 weekly Crucible quest bounties. If you do all 5, you get a nightfall level reward.
Cryptarch sells purple engrams, they cost marks.
Faction packages will always have a legendary item in them.
Class items and Ghost shells have a defense rating. they also have perks like increased rep gains, material radar and increase your Intellect/Discipline/Strength. Shells sold by Lord Shax had perks that gave you glimmer for killing a certain character class in pvp.
Armor can have perks that give better defense against elemental damage.
