Main reason POE has lost its luster with me. The loot is absolutely atrocious overall.
Funny thing is, I finally got a Gally on Friday (Nightfall)mane about 5mins ago I was considering logging on to level it up. I realized that there’s nothing I really want to do in the game anymore, so what’s the point?
Maybe I’ll finally put together a good PVP loadout and hop in Trials.
Yeah I’m not fond of PoE after hitting level 34. I only really play Destiny on Tuesday and Friday now for reset and Xur day.
I think Trials would be a lot more fun if it matched players of similar records. It would feel more like a tournament. Even with no teammate matchmaking you still do a lot of pub stomping.
If i had the ram and all strength items i would be glad… but rng is not gonna give the damn helmet!.. i was even tempted to by some motes with my strange coins at one point…
I think they will implement some trials skill based match up down the line… all the twitch main streamers/youtube guys are asking for/suggesting it.
I play mostly Hunter. Strength is wasted on them since throwing knife is ok at best, and Blink Strike recharges in about 3-5 seconds with Fast Twitch. I would rather have Intellect and Discipline on a Hunter.

I still do majority of the shit available in Destiny sans Trials. Two of my Three characters are level 34 but I only have Ghorn on one of them. I also don’t have all the fancy Raid weapons everybody and their mother seems to have.

I respect your opinion but when it comes to the gun dismantling and replayability i gotta disagree.
Gun hoarding in a game where all the loot is RNG should be totally expected from the players. You get a random drop w random rolls, If your only choice is dismantle a gun you like because you really need room for another gun, that system sucks. We’re not playing resident evil 4 here…
Try playing the same content but trying to do it differently? Nah, I dont know how many times Ive done Phogoth now but I’m sure I’ve got the optimal strat for him…why should I have to turn the game into something its not? they could have easily fixed this with random skulls on the highest lvl strikes.
Anyway, i love destiny, im not the “people still play that?” guy. I just fucking hate the fact that they implemented so many things wrong that’ll take YEARS to remedy…
I used to play mostly hunter but dat sunsinger warlock doe… lol I rarly use my titan for pvp unless iron bannana has something i really want or it has easy bounties i.e. kills with shotgun/hand cannon/capture 10 zones etc.

Red Hand IX is pretty good, and the cool thing about hand cannons is that they’re very versatile so there are plenty of different specs you can roll into.
You can roll for Sureshot or Truesight sights, but you can opt for others that offer better stability and reload speed as the gun has extremely high base aim assist. For the same reason, you could forego Hidden Hand in favor of something else. The strengths of the gun are the impact, aim assist and predictable recoil pattern. The weaknesses are the range, reload speed and the amount of recoil.
With this information, you can either try to balance out the gun or you can try to roll it to maximize its strengths. You could try a luck based damage build (Final Round, Smallbore, Luck in the Chamber), for example. You could try stability mods, damage mods, range mods, reload speed mods, hell even runspeed mods–hand cannons are very malleable in this regard. Think about what you want to do with the gun (besides pulling the trigger) and you can most likely roll it to fit that gameplan.

The servers seem to be running really slow. I was getting rep and item rewards from a game ago during the middle of the next game. It was even taking a long time to dismantle items and turn in bounties. Also a lot of disconnects too.
I heard that if you throw money at your TV it will clear those issues right up.

someone explain to me how that low impact pulse rifle is worth grinding to level 5 for.
lol Its not… that pulse rifle is dog shit. The only reason im grinding is for the etheric light… and maybe the jolders hammer - heavy machine gun. Even the armour isnt that good.

The problem is time and people to do poe with. I can do some games here and there or join a streamers game and level up fast… that reminds me i still need to do poe at some point lol.
