Queenbreakers Bow is fucking rad. I haven’t leveled up the second sight with the higher charge rate and hip fire yet, but sniping Vandals with one of their own wire rifles feels good. Real good.
Bungie should never let Luke Smith speak publicly ever again. Like ever. Dude single-handedly added insult to injury and showed players the douche creatively directing this game. Why would anyone want to continue playing after reading his nonchalance concerning a very fair outrage the community has concerning pricing?
LOL Deej to the rescue. It’s probably a good thing Bungie sent him in before I got wind of the original interview. I’m already bored of the grind for loot just to be more effective in fight to get more loot, etc. So I certainly don’t need this arrogant CD* practically laughing that players would have to re-buy content for the bonuses.
CD - Creative Director for those not in a creative field. The majority of which seem to be arrogant pricks. From personal experience. It’s uncanny really.
What I don’t understand is why Smith was fielding these questions. This doesn’t seem like it’s something that’s in his wheelhouse and I understand post-E3 unavailability issues, but this seemed like a real question/interviewee mismatch.
Not excusing his answers (although he’s touching on some real issues in the gaming community, whether he did it consciously or not), but the guy is good at what he does (Vault of Glass, for example). What he does is certainly not THIS, though.
Thats unfortunate because if there’s people like that basically laughing at his legitmate argument, I know I can’t continue nor was I ever going to shell out that money for the collectors edition anyway for the same content. It’s insane how arrogant some of these CD and game developers in general have become. People really need to start talking with their wallets.
Ur right. Can’t even argue that. smfh. 40$ for that dlc is absolutely ridic though. HoW and Crota DLC packaged together is barely worth 20$. Oryx expansion should be 20$
If rumors are true this new expansion is supposed to be around the same amount of content that the original game had.
Right now my only reason to buy it is because i have a lot of fun playing the game with my friends.
same, i seriously couldnt justify paying 20 for HOW or crota, but fuck i had to because my friends wanted me to play with them, im really thinking of trying to talk my buds out of continuing to play this game, cause i for one do not want to spend 40 on the next game…
Crota - not worth $20 in today’s market. Probably more like $10
HOW - worth $20 for the improvements
Taken King - from what I’ve read, it’s campaign is just as long as the original (with much improved storytelling), along with increasing the level cap to possibly 50 and a lot of other things. The big thing for me is whether the game allows more character customization and becomes about more than grinding for loot just to be able to grind for more loot.
“You want the content, you just don’t know how much you want it…” This shit had me rolling on the floor crying! Holy shit, it was hilarious! Sadly, the truth is that people are going to (re)buy this, it’ll sell like hotcakes, and this will become the new standard for dlc. Piecemeal games for full price and remastered games…welcome to the new generation of gaming. I’d be laughing if I was 'ol boy as well, because he knows Destiny’s printing money. The level of arrogance reminds me of how Microsoft was touting that always online, no used games mess. I’ll stick to the base game, though I do have access to the dlc since I have an account on my brother’s ps4, which I found out last night when he brought it over.
