Exclusion Zone. Instead of grinding my other chars, I’m going to farm that to get 2 Etheric Lights, the Scout, Fusion and Titan arms. Bought the legs already.

I don’t like the armor pieces for the Hunter, so I’m not going to bother. Not sure about the Warlock stuff.

It’s not a grind if you enjoy it. I’m sure many of you have spent hours playing cod/halo/SF without complaining. Why is destiny different? Because you can level weapons and gear? I think this game changes everyone’s mentality just because of the rpg elements. If you treat PvP the same way you do the other games, you’ll find that it’s less of a grind. At no point did I think it was grindy and hit lvl 5 on sat., hit lvl 3 with my secondary in less than 2 hrs of play on Sunday and I’m going to try and get my last character to lvl 3 today.

I have a lot of fun with Iron Banner, especially with a team full of friends. Grinded that fucker out to rank 5 on all my characters and ascended most of my VoG weapons and two Efrideet’s Spears.

I know there’s a bonus when you have a character leveled already, but I don’t think I could do that. Cheers dude lol. I did not like grinding. I do feel I got a lot better, but I’d need some dedicated folks to run with to get all my characters to lvl5. That would make it not only more enjoyable, but a lot easier.

Once you get one character to level 5, getting the other two to at least 3 is super easy and really does not take that long.

Advice if you are underleveled for IB, if you have the Red Death use it and zone mid range with it. As long as you get the first shot you will win most engagements. Play the map and play smart, either get the objective and get off of it to kill the incoming people or protect the people on the objective. If you do not have a red death just use the best pulse rifle you have, and play the midrange game. You got to be all like Ryu and shit.

I used to use the Lance variation a lot in PvP and would instead say, “Sonic…” and let the sound effect fill in the rest.

Any fusion rifle lovers in here? Probably my favorite weapon since I found my first green one back in the day. Perun’s Fire has a pretty ridiculous roll, but I want it to be void. Considering either trying my luck with rolling Perun’s Fire or buying a GIVE/Take Equation and rolling that for range/coils.

I primarily use fusion rifles. I have a first gen FR with spray and play, extra range and grenadier. Probably one of the best rolls for an FR. If you can get your hands on one, make sure you keep your purifier vii. High impact, high stability and high charge rate. As far as pve goes, pocket infinity is the hands down best. Before the shot gun buff, that was the go to secondary for melting story mission bosses.

I use to like fusion rifles but I dismantled all of them except exotics. Shotguns are just too good now.

got my ethrics from iron banner this week, now i dont know what to spend them on.
Skolas nightfall again but solar and void burn should be fun hoping a galley will finally drop.

I played Defender Titan for the first time in pvp during the last Iron Banner. What I learned was that people do not respect your bubble. I get that the Defender Titan is low tier, but if you’re not a Striker Titan, you should not enter a Titan Bubble.

Defender Titan is undervalued. They can be the most annoying thing to deal with in control, and I don’t mind having people use their super to remove my bubble. Rather have them waste their golden gun and nova bombs on the bubble than have them get multi-kills. Biggest threat is fist of havoc, since they can kill you and the bubble.

It really is funny watching people walk into your bubble over and over again.

Defender Titan sucks for PVP, you have to have an immense amount of spacial awareness because one super takes out your shield, you and anyone standing by you. Not to mention slide shotgun into bubbles will still one shot you.

A shotgun can one shot you if you use Blessing of Light. I use Armor of Light. You can survive three hits of a Blade Dancer with Armor of Light.
