It also seems no 33 armor exists, so the level cap is still 32.

The auto enrage at low health is real. I saw it on Dattoā€™s stream.

It pretty much means you have to count slams with the sword and not do more unless you can make sure it kills Crota.

As for the Crota encounter, Iā€™m more worried about the Gatekeeper. Going to have to down him quick in order to get two rotations on Crota while the sword is active.

No chalice is only a big deal b/c of the Wizard.

I used Suros on Crota encounter last night and hardly had to touch the chalice. Iā€™ll definitely be taking it in with me on hard.

Actually, you can ignore the Gatekeeper; it is just there to block middle. Youā€™ll have to move through the building instead when Ogres appear.

I killed Crota, acquired 3/4 weapons.
And the Sparrow, you may Inspect my Warlock if you think Iā€™m full of shit.

Now onto the strategy.

PART ONE
The Team Composition

ALL 32s if you want to make it easy on you.

Warlock Tips

VOIDWALKER
Your lifesteal replenish your health after one single kill.

SUNSIGNER
Do not run Fireborn unless you suck and always die or unless you are the swordbearer.
Instead of Fireborn, run either Song of Flame or Radiant Skin for Survival.
Why? Because you want to avoid oversoul as much as possible.

Hunter Tips

Side tips : They are by far the best choicd for sword runs.

BLADEDANCER

Run Escape Artist and ShadowJack why?
Drop Sword, hit crota with Blink Strike, pick the sword back up.
This grants you an extra hit or two on Crota. YOU WILL NEED THIS TRUST ME.

GUNSLIGNER

No real tips, beside to save your GG for boomers.

Titan Tips

Run Defender with Blessing of Light. Period

PART TWO
Weapons

Everyone should have Ghorn maxed out or Hunger of Crota, or any High Velocity tracking Rocket launcher.

EVERYONE Should have a Black Hammer or Icebreaker. MAXED OUT.

If you want to use Suros or Red Death, feel free, although Firefly primaries are generally better for this part.

PART THREE
How to Crota

Now first let me thank Bungie for this challenge as I had a LOT of fun going through the raid and especially killing Crota.

Now onto the main dish.

WHERE DO I DEEPEEES (means do damage)

Everyone should be on the left side of platform while looking at Crota at the start.

Why no middle you asshole?!??
Because you will get buttraped by a Gatekeeper

No fck you. Its a waste of time.

But the Boomers and Wizardā€¦
Then bloody kill them!!
A team of 2-3 pro snipers should be dedicated on those left side boomers, they are MAJORS. It takes roughly 7 Black Hammer precision shot to kill one at 32.

Important to note
Every time a Boomer tag team dies, a Major Wizard sill spawn. Everyone should take it outā€¦ Cuz Wizard duhhhh
Also if you have a defender Titan, make sure he drops a bubble with Blessing of Light at the top of the stairs, easier to avoid Boomer damage.

Very important note
SPAM THE -blam!- OUT OF THESE ORBS OF LIGHTS.
CROTA ENRAGES AT 25% HP

Ok fgt, what about the Sworbearer?!

The rest of your team should unleash hell on him. Being left side grants you a much wider vision of the stage. Lure him out and kill him.

Ok, you smrt, whats next?

Well its like the normal mode, you just listen to when to shoot your rockets and donā€™t kill yourselves.

Important Note
Another Boom tag team may show up. Always be on the lookout.
ONLY SNIPER SHOT WILL STAGGER THEM

Do this for the first 2 Sword phases.

Very important note
CROTA ENRAGES AT 25%
ENSURE THAT HIS HP NO HIGHER THAN 30%!!!

Well move you derp! After Crota gets up, you have to move to the right side. If you have a good team. Right side boomer should already be dead because your sniper team is just that good.

No seriously I mean it. While the Sword run is happening, the Sniper team should at least take out one Boomer on the right side.
You may move across directly from the back or out front, doesnā€™t matter which.

ITS ALLL ORGREEE NOWWW

Yepā€¦ Kill them, 3 of you should be unleashing hell on them. A defender bubble should also be poped here on the top of the stairs as well.

Very important note
SPAM THE -blam!- OUT OF THESE ORBS OF LIGHTS.

I dont think i need to explain why. Specially if its to help your Sword runner.

Thereā€™s no specific strat for the Orgre, ots all about teamwork. 2 of you on the boomers, 3 on the orgres and 1 floating for wizard agroo if any.

An Orgre can only target 1 person and create 0 splash damage. Use this to your advantage.

WHAT NOW?!!! IM SOO PUMPED TO KILL THIS HOE!!!

CALM THE FCK DOWN.
Excitement WILL Kill you.
At this point, Crota will be in the middle and about to move back to the Right side. Your team should already be back om the left side as soon as the 2nd orgre is dead.

Repeat the same thing as earlier!!! Wait for him to get back to the middle and manage to grab the sword at the same time.

First Sword run on your 3rd sword should bring him to Enrage. Oversoul happens. IGNORE IT!!! BRING HIS ASS DOWN AGAIN!!! THEN BOOMM HE DEAD.

Someone came up with a strategy that uses the center window platform to completely ignore the boomers, which in turn, keeps the wizards from spawning.

I was level 30 before getting a bunch of sweet gear that made me into a level 28 pleb that barley does any damage to enemies.

worked on crota for 3 hours last night before finally finishing him off a half second before the oversoul took us out. We stood on the middle ledge then moved underneath the right boomer tower when ogres spawned. Good hunter swordbearer is key. Got rewarded with primary hand cannon, auto rifle and shader from complete hard mode raid. (already did normal this week)

I honestly feel like it can probably be done with 1 or 2 31s on the team - at least until the Crota encounter.

I still havenā€™t leveled my raid gear for 32, so I wouldnā€™t know for sure.
