i just blew through all my motes of light(110) trying to reroll the iron banner sniper rifle and rocket launcher. the sniper im satisfied with, i got last round deals bonus damage, perfect balance, and expect to find more ammo. on the rocket launcher i had to settle for proximity, field scout and reload faster when mag is empty

What system are you on? If you canāt find someone to roll with you, do it solo. Itās not hard at all, tons of safe spots. The ice breaker is 100% worth trying to grind out strange coins for.
Also the thorn absolutely destroys in iron banner. I can believe how much damage that thing does. Before I leveled mine up, if I came across a thorn user iād just run away.
Debating buying a second Icebreaker or picking up Obsidian Mind to stash for my baby Warlock who I plan to level up this weekend. I already have Skull of Aka stored for him, but Iāve been wanting OM since it was added.

i already had a maxed out OM, let me tell you, you will regret not getting it, that thing is so OP. chuck nova bombs for days. thats why it pays to have 3 toons all geared out for weekly heroics, i can triple dip in weekly strikes for strange coins if need be.
im so satisfied having 3 ice breakers, i feel so complete, but then i think about the next dlc and how i will have to level all 3 of them again, kind of scary lol.
The only thing Xur has this week that I donāt have is the Glass House. I think Iām going to pass, it doesnāt seem as useful as the other Defender Exotics, especially the Helm of Saint 14.
The Helm of Saint 14 lets me do silly things like this.
Proximity detonation is the best for pvp. For rocketlauncher. Sniper perks for pvp you want the perk that allows your bullets to over penetrate. It allows you to shoot through wallsā¦ And let me tell you, you can shoot theough some thick ass walls. Im assuming youaee using these for pvpā¦

wasnt vex always 323??? from my knowledge none of the raid weapons got the upgrade treatment, only your random exotic weapons.
The Vex was originally 300 attack, but had an extremely high base damage. In October Bungie nerfed the base damage by 30-something percent. Then they raised the attack from 300 to 323 two weeks before the DLC dropped. With the DLC the max attack of every other exotic was upgradeable to 331.

Iām curious to the tagging perk Fang has. If it works the way I think, itāll be great for getting the group to focus fire - though most teams Iāve played on (even randoms) know who to focus on the same Wizard, Captain, etc.
Word of Crota and Abyss Defiant both look amazing as well. Looks like I need to get my chars to 32.
I would love for a new wave of exotics to take more of the approach Insomniac did with Resistance. There was one that allowed you to tag a mob and the bullets would track, even if you were shooting straight up in the air, around a corner, etc. They had another which was more tactical, where the rounds made a plastic explosive type substance wherever you shot, which would behave like a trip mine.

I started running VoG again yesterday for the exotic and fate bringer chance. I do Hard mode only, so I get double drops. Templar drops two Found Verdicts. Gatekeepers drop two Corrective Measures. Atheon drops another Vex and Last Word(that makes #4)ā¦The people in my group said they would report me if I sharded the Vex
I just want a Fate Bringer :ā(

Ice Breaker has never been that big of a deal to me anyway. There were literally dozens of people surrounding Xur over that shit, though. IIRC itās been a good while since he was selling it.
In other news, Iron Banner grinding is going slowly after reaching rank 2. I need me that legendary chest piece with matching Warlock Bandā¦

I got the ice breaker pretty early in the game and I will admit its been the most useful weapon for me hands downā¦ regens ammo, does great precision damage and anything you kill explodes, definitely OP in PVE.
Iām lucky to have had it drop a few times for my sub chars. really hoping you picked one up and and youāre not āthat guyā in the raid 
side note, I was going through my vault and found an auto rifle i threw in there and just forgot aboutā¦
Def my fav auto rifle so far, reloads almost instantly and I have the bonus damage after reloading percā¦ makes me wish there was a way to upgrade old legendaries.
