I give up on the Ceaseless Discharge. I can’t get it to stop spamming its fire attack and get close to the entrance. I’m going after the Moonlight Butterfly.
Friend of mine told me that they’re going to patch Dark Souls this month, fixing the heavy frame rate drops mid game (especially in Blighttow).
This true? Being in Blighttow, it is annoying how the game is running a good 15 FPS the entire fuckin’ time I’m in there.
I doubt it, I’ve never in my life heard of a patch that increased the framerate of a game. There’s also already been 3 patches already, none of them fixed the framerate because I don’t think it’s possible. Bayonetta’s patch, for example, didn’t do shit to the framerate, all it did was add an install option to reduce load times.
I finished the game earlier today, the last boss was a joke. The game restarted right away after the credits, so I killed the beginning boss and got his weapon, then I killed the Taurus Demon and Dragon. You get a lot more souls after killing enemies in this playthrough, the dragon gave me 10K on my first playthrough and when I killed him earlier he gave me 50k! Anyway, I plan on doing all the quests I missed my first time through, like the Yurt questline and some others that I had no clue about and missed. I’ll probably take this playthrough slow though, I want to play through Crysis 1.
Finally finished after 54 hours. And boy did that ending suck. Game was a lot of fun except for they don’t explain shit half the time. I ran around for the longest time trying to return the lordvessel souls because the guy in the abyss wouldn’t take me back. I finally get pissed, smack him around, and he leaves. I finally guess to jump into the other snake dude’s hole and it magically takes me there. How the hell was I supposed to know that. Or maybe I just wasn’t paying attention…
Humanity may disgust me, but the fact that I got ganked out of my Drake Sword, nearly caused me to go Stuckey all over this game.

Black Knight Sword shits on it with some points in str/dex. You don’t even need to upgrade it and it’ll surpass the Drake Sword in damage. Drake Sword=200 base, no stat bonuses, BKS 205 with bonuses and is easily upgradeable. You can easily destroy the entire game with that weapon, then later on, you can farm for a Black Knight Greatsword, a weapon that takes some getting used to because of it’s slow attack speed, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll make it rain. It’s so damn satisfying to use, plus it one shots mostly everything with a backstab or parry.
I got Quelagg Egg Head status 
Anyone know the fastest way to get it off? How to get the item? Or something?

Right now, I’m deciding whether or not to exit Mid-Blighttown, and go get my sword repaired or not.
I’d hate fight my way back down here, but it’ll be even worsse if my BK breaks.
You can go talk to the egg burdened guy next to the Chaos Servant master and he should give you one for free, also will allow you to purchase them from then on.
Or you could kill the weird tree snake things in Darkroot Garden, they sometimes drop them too. Also I think the egg burdened guys in Demon Ruins drop them every now and then.
those were indeed magnificent boobies, I was awe struck. I’ve killed her on my second low level pvp char, then I’m going for dark gwyn. Good to see so much is still left to see after beating the game. I don’t even care about the farm spot, I’m level 7 with the kings vessel, souls just go to upgrading my pyromancy at the moment.

Oh so that’s what that guys does. In my magnificent first playthrough mistake; I thought he was one of those normal parasite fuckers just being annoying blocking my way. So imagine my surprise when I kill him and he starts talking about the queen, setting in that feeling that I just fucked up big time.
Not wanting to leave the job half-done, killed the spider witch too and got me some humanity :smokin:

Is the BKS guaranteed to drop? I don’t remember getting it. What happens if he doesn’t drop it, you just won’t ever get it then? Black Knights are pretty limited I tihnk.

So wtf, I’ve seen the videos of how to get Ceaseless Discharge to fall into the pit. Run back, he’ll slam his arm down, hit it a few times and he falls. But he’s not doing that attack to me at all. He’s throwing fire at me from a safe spot, and NOT coming near the pit at all. How do I bait him closer? I thought running up near him and then running back would work, but it hasn’t. Lost all my souls anyway so fuck it, I’m just gonna keep at it until I get him somehow. Post up if you know why he got smart all of a sudden though.
