what makes deprived so hard to use?
Darkwraith is acquired from Darkstalker Kaathe. You’ll have to get the Lordvessel but not place it in the firelink alter. After that you gotta get to the Abyss. He should show up near a bonfire and you can talk to him. Say yes to his question.
For warrior of sunlight, you gotta complete all of Solaire’s events, you’ll need to take to him an have faith of 50 or above. Alternatively, you can have Faith + 5x multiplayer participation. I think he should be in Firelink

I don’t feel like typing it all up.
Alternatively, since my descriptions are probably subpar, http://darksouls.wikidot.com/covenants this should have all the info. The good folks there ripped all their words directly out of the Future-Press guide, so it’s probably pretty accurate. =O
As far as Deprived goes, is that you basically have like…nothing when you begin, so more or less a hit or two will put you down. From what I understand it’s good if you’re an expert player, or just want, lolololol, a challenge. Or, as I said to some other dude, you REALLY like clubs.
Also your stats all start at 11, which isn’t too bad. =O
Does that BP in the Depths respawn? I killed him and I kinda don’t wanna see him again…
Agreed Darksouls is such a good game that I ignore most of these issues.
So today I go to Blight Town and since I am in Human form I summon two other players. Funny this is right before we reach the boss we get invaded, for the first time I felt sorry for the invader cause 3 v 1 is close to impossible unless you are mad good or have crazy stats. I use the fireball pyro spell while the two other players hack him. Long story short I got his weapon and souls. :badboy:
Moral of the story, if you are scared of getting invaded make sure you use humanity in an area where there will summon markings. Particularly bonfires or just before bosses. Is it just me or does this game kind of punish you for invading? With the hit lists and all…lol.
Fuck this game is good. Got it yesterday, spent all day after work playing it. Forgot to make dinner and got to bed too late.
I’ve still only beaten two bosses, but I think I’m close to a third now…
And I was invaded on my first day. It happened under the dragon bridge, you know where you shoot arrows in the tail and get that sword. I freaked out and my first thought was to hide somewhere. So I hid halfway up a ladder (the one in the room with the fucking annoying poison rats)… I dunno what I was thinking. But he found me and blasted me down. Then I ran back to the bridge, with a panicky plan to do what I did to the undead spear knight - kick him off the edge. It looked like a good kick, but it didn’t do any pushback (kick doesn’t seem to pushback when the enemy has started an attack?). Then he killed me :shake:
This + your avatar made me laugh my ass off for some odd reason. Damn, I need more sleep.
Quick Demon’s Souls question, aside from the dull gold armor set(for some reason I just don’t want to kill Selen), is the Bind armor from Miralda the best set? I want to stay mobile, any of the heavy plate armors slow me down too much. Though with the ring of great strength I can get around in the fluted armor fairly well.
So I got a firekeeper soul from blighttown, that plus a lot of souls I figure hey, lemme just homeward bone back to base and the fire keeper is dead. Just her clothing is left. WTF IS THAT SHIT? Was it that gold knight? And now where else can I find firekeepers?
Beat the blighttown boss. And yeah, it was that asshole.
Well, iron flesh makes short work of the last boss…
watching Darksydephil play Dark souls is comedy gold.
lol
I honestly don’t recall too much, but I just remember being at the very bottom trying to figure out where to go. The only thing I do remember finding was that large vines of some kind, I suppose I can follow that.
I’ll try checking it out when I get the chance again, thanks ;o
vines are on the opposite side that you need
Ah, I see :o
I can’t even reach the bottom, stuck up on the catwalks. I’m not supposed to jump on the mill wheels, am I? That looks like a TERRIBLE idea.
EDIT: And by terrible idea, I mean a GREAT IDEA. Because apparently they aren’t full wheels, they’re elevators. Wow. Fucking game, lol. So now I get to have fun dying in the swamp like everyone else.
DOUBLE EDIT: this game needs a fucking pause in the worst way. Just got a call from work and got owned by simple little bugs in the swamp. Couldn’t find the bonfire down there, and asshole lautrec kills the firelink one, so now I’m all the way back at the fucking parish. Every time I get a call from work I get fucking destroyed.
Do monsters get stronger during NG+? I feel like I’m missing a lot of stuff too, I’m just playing casually to finish the game and not look toooo hard for special items or whatever else (thx for the Undead Merchant tip, I’ll kill him for his weapon when I get back there.) Other than that, I hope it gets harder.
The mill wheels have an elevator thing. You are supposed to stand on those parts and get off when it hits the bottom.
NG+ should power up all enemies, and change up what goes where.
I don’t think NG+ changes where anything is. The first NG+ has the biggest increase in enemy strength. In general, normal enemies get 2.5 times HP and damage, stronger enemies get around 2 times the HP and damage, and Bosses get around 1.5 times HP and damage.
Also, make sure to trade your Lantern to the Crow so you can get the Fog Ring (the Dark Souls version of the Sneak Ring).
I just beat the gapping dragon. i’m a thief. Whats the best weapon for me at this stage of the game.?
Yes, for females, binded armor is best.
