Made the Crystal Ring Shield… oh man this is so OP I feel bad for even testing it out. I mean, I already 1 or 2 shot every mob in anor londo but this shield makes it all too easy. 1 shot everything from range.

Got to the bottom Blighttown again, takes me like 30 minutes to get there, trying so hard to get down there.
Go the right way, get poisoned a lot, waste all my poison cures.
Take some pinwheel up something, climb it up, fight off random monsters. Get to a part of the game that looks like the inside of a sewers, FUCKIN’ PEOPLE WITH POISON DARTS EVERY WHERE!!

The bonfire in blighttown is at the bottom of the swamp, in a tunnel and I believe to the right of it in the distance you can see the entrance to quelagg’s domain? The dart cunts don’t respawn once you kill them, you need the blooming purple moss in case you get hit with toxic I think.
Also, I suck at PvP, got invaded twice, died twice. First time I didn’t get to do anything, second time I tried pillar humping but stupid caster 3 shot me, I did get a hit in though, not enough to kill… if only I had 2 more dragon scales.
Also, Anor Londo boss fight, you guys were not kidding. That shit is brutal. My iron flesh armor shenanigans don’t work here lol
It’s funny cause my build made blighttown relatively easy once I understood it, but instead Tomb of Giants is FUCK HARD. Almost beat the boss in it but the game fucking froze on me.
Probably a Scimitar or Falchion up until then. All the curved blades have great Dex multipliers. In the next area, Blighttown, there’s an Iaito katana(and ninja armor set) you can pick up, that would be even better for you most likely.
I wouldn’t drop the knife outright if you’re abusing it’s speed to interrupt people when they attack you. I’d just move it to the L2 slot so I can still have that fast attack and a parry, though I only use that on enemies that can actually be stunned by the knife. If you’re using it cause of the backstab power, well I’d probably just drop it cause the other swords are so much stronger that generally when everything’s maxed out for both, the other swords end up doing almost as much if not more.
NPC BPs never respawn
I just beat both extra bosses. They were ridiculously easy. I was able to nab an extra Dragon Scale from The Lost Painting of Ariamis(fucking awesome level, by the way.) and am thinking about lvling up my Drake Sword to +5, but I’m also really close to being able to use my Dragon Greatsword, so I’m not sure if I want to save the scales for that weapon instead.
I’m gonna farm a specific Black Knight for a Black Knight Greatsword, it’s the only Black Knight weapon I’m missing. Then, I think I’m going to just kill off all of the NPC’s and beat the game.
anyone know if you can get the armor the Firekeeper at Anor Londo wears?

finally done with that shit after hours. i didnt think the fight was actually that hard, but i kept dying to something dumb on super orn/smough like getting 1hko by lightning spear or having the guy jump up (camera goes crazy so i dont know which way is block) and instakill me with buttstomp. didn’t help that i was an idiot and thought i could get by without any points in vit
and no, epic titties did NOT make up for that horribly frustrating boss fight.

btw elemental weapons are ridiculous, my lightning estoc +2 gives me 346 attack for a fast 1 handed weapon. imagine if i cranked up something like a great sword. too bad my only option now is a fire weapon which requires slime farming.

Really need an elemental weapon or two though. I have a lightning spear but it isn’t upgraded at all so it hits soft. There’s just an odd satisfaction when I swing at a big ass knight 2-3 times my size and his ass staggers like a little girl from my swings.

you dont need to be around that area (sewers with dart dudes)…you need to find that giant giant water mill thing, and use it as an elevator to go down. once you go down stick to your left you should run into a bonfire, walking away from the bone fire if you look to your right in the distance is the sandy hill area where you need to go.

Anor londo was the hardest fight for me, hands down.
Pozer, coming down from the waterwheel facing the swamp, you need to head right. Those dudes you fought with toxic? You went the wrong way. Take the entrance from the drake side, and head (basically) vertically down using ladders, looking more on your right (facing the swamp). It takes maybe 5 minutes to hit the boss if you are coming down that way and know what you are doing.
Stabby, where’d you farm twinkling titanite? Off of those clam things? The bastards never drop it for me and I want to upgrade both Black Knight swords before I start new game+. The first Black Knight Sword I want to use as a one-hander with a shield, the Black Knight Greatsword I want to use for when I don’t give a shit and want to go two-handed without a shield.
Yeah, I think it’s called Brass Armor. I picked it up after killing Gwendolyn(secret boss.) You equip the Dark Seance Ring, then head to the 2nd bonfire in Anor Londo(the one where you move the gears and the huge platform acts as an elevator.) behind the bonfire is a statue, if you get close to it with the ring on it’ll disappear, then you can join the Darkmoon covenant. I joined, then went through the fog and killed the boss. It’s in a treasure chest after you beat him. Armor’s nothing special, but it does look pretty cool.
I just got 50 strength earlier, and, I compared the Dragon Greatsword to my Black Knight Greatsword +2(just found it and upgraded it a bit) and my BKG hits for over a 150-200 damage more than the Dragon Greatsword. BKG scales really well with strength, plus it also looks really cool. The only way to get it as far as I know, is to keep killing a specific black knight at the final area of the game. I’m using Haval set+Black Knight Greatsword without a shield, with poise fighting enemies is hilarious. Everything I’ve fought dies in 1-3 hits. You backstab with one yet? Shit is hilarious.
Drops off clams, but it is a rare drop. I only know because they did it the first time. Use the snake ring, then buff your humanity up to 10 and your drop rate should be like 600±- just try not to die :eek:
I want that gear. And I want a lightning sword! I think str may have been the better balance for weapons on first playthrough, with dex eventually being better (as if you didn’t max both stats anyway). I keep wanting to quit this damn game but it drags me back anyway.
