Damn, I’m not far enough into the game to farm Twinkling Titanite, going to need a ton of it too.
If a mage could wear all that fancy armor, it’d be kind of broken don’t you think? Although I do agree that some more gear for each class would be good, seems like most of the really epic stuff is geared towards tanks.
Twinkling is really late game farming.
Also, for future reference to you all, if someone is about to do something stupid, MAKE THINGS EASIER FOR THEM the MOMENT you think they are about to pull something

yea i figured as much, i was actually going in and dying just so i could get an idea of the layout of the area. but his first attack is taht lunge which cant be guarded and ive tried so many ties to dodge it but taht thing tracks so ridiculously
Yeah, don’t forget your roll does have startup invincibility though so as long as you time it right, like just before it hits, you’ll get away free.
That’s just cause tanks probably won’t really have many amazing spells, they get epic gear instead.
If you’ve been leveling Endurance (for Stamina) and you have a larger shield, then you might be able to block it. Larger shields use less Stamina to block with.
All I know is that the Guide specifies that the Boar helm is a major hindrance on Stamina regeneration. It doesn’t say this about many other helmets.
What kind of amazing spells do you get? So far all I’ve seen at the vendors is soul arrow, heavy soul arrow, REALLY heavy soul arrow, etc.
I haven’t seen anything that made me wish I picked a mage instead.
magic is pretty strong in this game imo
technically since any character can wear any armor and use any spell as long as they have the stats, you could wear heavy armor and cast amazing spells too
now that i think about it…that sounds like a pretty good build

minimum str/dex to use a baller weapon, upgrade it to “magic” type
crank up caster stats
if you wear heavy armor youre pretty much set
Finally beat the Capra Demon, who’s been tormenting me for days. As soon as I killed the dogs, I felt like I had the fight won… and I did! 
Blight town is so fucking gross. Where the hell am I supposed to go in it anyways? I made it to the bottom but the swamp keeps poisoning me…
Gaping Dragon Axe is so fucking win though.
If you kill enough of the trees in Darkroot Garden, they’re CONSTANTLY dropping purple moss for anti poison. So make sure you stock up there before Blighttown.
Also ladder behind the Hydra leads to an area that has a bunch of invisible enemies, how am I even supposed to handle that? Not to mention the dozen or so supertrees that are there, with 3 times as much health as the same fucking enemy in the first part of Darkroot. Is there anything worth getting up in that area? I’m about to just say fuck it and come back later when I’m more baller.
That area is the area you unlock by spending the 20k for the seal from the blacksmith. You can farm souls there or go join the covenant.
I just killed the Iron Giant in a really, really easy way (stupid IMO but whatever)… I wonder if I can do this for other bosses.
Equipped Stone Armor set for awesome armor, then used Iron Flesh. Whipped out my Dragon Greatsword +4 (fully repaired of course), and spammed R2 in 2H mode. ~680 damage a hit. Took longer to get there than to kill the mofo.
Stay out of that part of darkroot unless you want to grind for souls, I don’t think you should be there yet. When the game gives you new objectives, then you’ll need to fight the boss of that area.
I know right, I just went in there to get my body and fight him again after dying, got trapped in between him and the 2 dogs about an inch away from my souls. Lost it all. Needless to say, Imad bro. I definitely fucking mad
can you use pyromancy spells if you are a sorcerer? if so how? do you need a special weapon? apparently my catalyst and javelin cannot cast pyromancy spells.

Pretty much anyone can use pyromancy. You need to rescue the guy from The Depths and he gives you a glove or something that lets you use pyromancy. He’s trapped in a barrel, break it by rolling into it, not attacking it.
You just need attunement slots.
The Sorcery catalyst and the Pyromancy catalyst are different items. Just like the Miracle talisman. You cannot cast spells without the right catalyst/talisman.
Alternatively, you can use a glitch that allows you to cast any magic spell with any catalyst/talisman.
Fuck all four of those headless crippled demons at the bottom of Sen’s Fortress.
I also need to go back to the areas that have NPC invasions seeing as I’ve been a hollow most of the game.
^ Me too, the only one I managed to get was the chick who drops the Meat Cleaver at the bottom of Blighttown. Anyone know of some exact areas where you can get an NPC invasion? I want to get the majority of them before I start NG+.
Spooty, can I leave and enter that last area freely with all the Black Knights? I’d like to farm the hell out of them for titanite and Black Knight gear.
