Why do I randomly get humanity/flasks?
I also really really hope that a way to warp later on shows up, but I don’t see that happening.
Did you leave messages? I suspect you get those for getting your messages recommended.
Anyone else have problems downloading the collectors edition stuff? I was only able to download the map. Everything else seems to stop downloading after a while.
@Stabby: you get flasks when other players kindle the bonfire you used last.
so like are you supposed to ring the one bell or even 2 before you reach the forest (garden)? just wondering because i would like that summon stone to do some coop, i think someone said you need to ring the first bell before you get the summon stone. also is there a storage box?

The Master Key is the only gift that you cannot pick-up in-game. You can get the Pendant.
You can have humanity added directly to your counter from killing certain enemies, but only if you haven’t beaten the boss of their area yet, and only up to 10 humanity.

You can warp after you have received the Lordvessel from Anor Londo.
The “summon stone” a.k.a. White Soapstone, is received in the Undead Burg and not in the forest. But, you can go to the forest from the Undead Parish…no bells needed.
haven’t had nearly enough time to play this, but I finally got my character strong enough to equip the winged spear I found in the graveyard last night. Hoping to make some more progress this weekend.
I got the summon stone before ringing the first bell. Also, you can go to the forest without ringing the first bell. You get the summon stone from a knight after beating the Taurus Demon. Just go in the opposite direction of the bridge where the red dragon is.

Whoaaa what the fuck, I’m level 26 and I followed up on the Drake Sword. Overrrrpowerrreeddddd!!! Reading all Spooty’s tips makes me want to restart the game.

Seriously lol. I would recommend everyone get the Drake Sword in the beginning! I thought I was doing work with the Halberd (good for narrow spaces and everything) but this sword is Overrrpowweerrreddd!

Shoot arrows at the red dragon’s tail from under the bridge. About 20-40 arrows should do it.
One thing I noticed about the Drake sword is that, it’s problem is that it doesn’t gain any bonuses from stats. So like midway in the game, or sooner depending on your build, it actually gets weaker than your normal stuff. Not only that but personally I’m doing a Dex build so so I don’t even have enough strength to carry it lol.
It definitely can carry you through the beginning of the game to the point where you become less dependent on it but have already become addicted to the game.
Finally got my PS3 and picked up Dark Souls today. Feels like Demon Souls to the T which is what I wanted lol. I am surprised there is no install option on the ps3, it would have helped the few slowdowns I’ve seen already.
yeah I get slowdowns too, Game damn near shit itself when I came across 3 wargs in the Darkroot forest. (Buying that blacksmith’s key, WORTH IT)

Anyone on 360 like not getting summoned ever? Played demon souls on PS3 and it was mad easy to join someone and run through a boss. It is just because everyone’s always dead?
That and depends on if people actually have the game around you. The online portions are based on location so like someone from CA can’t play someone form NY. Too far.
