just started playing this due to price drop on friday.
OMG I’m in love >_< this game is soooo addicting haha.
I got my brother to play this game. Watching him play and get himself killed makes me want to dig into the game again. I think I’ll do that once he’s done with the game.
lol yeah the difficulty curve def. makes you pay attention to what you are doing/where you are very quickly. I have noticed that the duration of time i spend alive has been increasing steadily tho. it’s just great when you blank out for a split second and then get 1 shot by dragon fire because you were standing a little bit too far forward(world 1-2) haha. but i’ve cleared 1-1,1-2, 2-1 and am working on 2-2 atm. I got 3/4 the way down the big pit and mis aimed a step off and died >_<. i promptly turned my console off after that haha.
I was fighting the 4-1 boss and I nearly had him dead and in one hit I died. Never went back since.
One time I was traveling in 3-1 and lost my footing falling way below but I luckily didn’t die from the fall. Too bad the octopus head bastard swarmed me(didn’t know he was even there) resulting in my death and loss of 20,000 souls.
if you turn the game off when you die you dont die, and start with all your souls right back where you were

Yeah, my PS3 got turned off a LOT on the 3-2 boss. Fucking flying gargoyle thing.
this game is very well made, whoever made it actually has a brain
who ever made this game needs to make other one. Im always down for PvP, shit is to funny.
I never bothered to turn the game off after dying. That’s a kin to rage quitting. And i’m sure after all the success that they’ll release a sequel or similar game. They have to!!!

you need to. It’s the kind of game that will make you rage turn your ps3 off after a death and come back 15 min. later or less and try it again.

I’m trying to go through and get a Platinum before the servers get shut down in March. On my 2nd playthrough, Soul Level 134 (I think), North American server.

If someone could let me hold these weapons and rings so I can unlock the trophies for them, it could cut down my playtime down to only a 3rd playthrough. I’d appreciate it a lot!
EDIT: Just holding a maxed out weapon or item will unlock the Upgrade trophies, without actually upgrading TO that item.

I’m just missing a few things now, which means I have tons of left over ores (up to chunks of the moon stones and bladestones).
I’m willing to part with them if people let me hold (or keep) the rest of the items on my list.

Bought this game today. Gotta say I’m liking what I’ve seen so far.
So you need Blueblood Sword and Insanity Catalyst? I have a extra blueblood sword no extra insanity catalyst though. I dont really need anything but if you pm some time ill let you have it. Black Phantom Satsuki is one of the hardest enemies ever in demon souls, he just runs at you full speed and then once you start killing him he heals him self over and over.
I finished finding the last 3 chunks of greystone (at an equivalent of searching for them for 3 days). I need chunks of mercurystone now.
