I dd the same with Doran, except I also shot him with arrows, ran away and backstabbed him to speed up the process.
as for False king, can you even do that? I figured he would RTSD, but the fight isn’t that bad once you get dodging down. in fact you could probably get away without a shield since you shouldn’t really be blocking, and just dodge
Actually I died twice fighting the False King.
He did Soulsucker on me twice: the first time I lived through and the second time I died when I had full health. WTF?! He was actually halfway dead when I died the first time. This time, I will use the Demonbrandt to speed things up.
I plugged him with arrows and it was fucking useless. I started with 15 damage to the king and eventually it went down to 7 points of damage.
I just died to the Tower Knight. The game is the hardest game I’ve played of all time so far. Are their any other good ways to kill him? I am a Knight and I kept hitting him on his feet. I am guessing that is the only good way for my class.
Take off armor until you are half of your equip burden. This boosts your speed and gives you fast roll.
First thing you go and kill all the archers up top, should be pretty easy. The strategy for the knight is you run in and whack one of his feet one time, then run out, wait for him to do a hulk smash or attack then right after his attack when hes in recovery go in and attack the same foot again then run out. Keep repeating this until the armor on that foot breaks, then do the same for the other foot. He falls down but be careful not to be behind him when hes falling or he’ll crush you. When hes on the ground slash away at his head.
I did exactly what you typed in this post. I think what I need to do is take the armor off. I noticed I did move slower than usual.
A big tip is to master locking and unlocking. Stay unlocked while you’re running around, away, and getting close to him and only lock on when you’re right next to his foot and going to attack. Then after the attack immediately unlock and run.
For the tower knight, I went up the stairs and used soul arrow whenever he does he lance attack.
Also, just took out False King Allant in 1-4. Now to beef up my soul level and equipment…
I think all servers are PBWT now for Christmas. If you guys are missing any nice items/sidequests in PBWT levels, now’s a good time to go them.
The Tower Knight discouraged me to playing the game when I first started. The key is to run directly up the stairs, kill all the archers, then run back downstairs to kill the tower knight while dodging his attacks. Attack his feet, then if you see him going for the shield slam roll 2X to dodge it, it does crazy damage. If you’re still having trouble, try leveling up a bit, then go to level 4-1 and soul farm the skeletons. Then, you should be able to kill the tower knight with one knockdown while using your weapon with both hands.
Everything in my game is Pure White Tendency EXCEPT for the Boletarian Palace. Since I took out Old King Doran, it has been black. Now, it’s just neutral. I want to take out Executioner Miralda but I can’t. Crap.
^ Weird, it should be the other way around. Use some stones to resurrect, suicide, rinse and repeat until the world goes PB then go fight BP Miralda. Unless the gate is open already and you can go there now, then do it up.

One of the several unique things about Demon’s Souls is that death has its benefits. The problem is, most people don’t look past their soul count and their 1/2 HP to notice.
Fuck this game, I searched for it in 6 stores and they all sold out.
lol i bought mine new on the 1st day it was out. I hope they make demons souls 2, the game is too good.
I’m almost always never in body form, just because if and when I do die in body form, you lose one level in your world tendency.
That and damage is higher I believe.
So I bought this game for myself for Christmas. DAMN. Holy fucking shit. This game is stealing my soul.
I’ve already beaten the first three sections of world one, all of world two, and I’m almost done with the second section on world three. Magic is too good.
Edit: I’m going to go ahead and say it. This is THE best Japanese style RPG to come out in this decade. Bar none. This game has plenty of incredible exploration (the amount of secrets in the game is staggering) combined with one of the tightest medieval style combat systems I’ve ever experienced. Even though the game has some very obvious flaws (the ragdoll physics, a lot of the AI, fake messages) I still don’t feel like I’ve played a game that has so thoroughly been able to break the mold so cleanly.
This is definitely my favorite game of 2009, and I didn’t think anything could top Dragon Age.
