It is when you summon a Blue Phantom and when you beat the boss and pass the stage they are returned to their world in their body and “saved”.
There is a spell that returns them to their body as well, but I don’t know if that counts as saving them as well.

Looks like we are getting a Pure White World Tendency over Christmas break. Cool, I can do all the events without trying to manage the tendency myself, by staying offline and whatnot.
I did all he Black ones over Halloween weekend except Selen.

yo man, the insanity catalyst is sick. i got some crazy combo going with the catalyst, magical sharpness ring, and the kris +2 weapon (i need 3 more colorless for max buff)…and its out of control. i have 86 magic right now, and im doing INSANE damage with firestorm, very few black phantoms survive more than one, same goes with bosses. once i get the +5 on the kris i want to see how big of a difference that makes.
i was wondering how people got like 1 billion souls in 90 hours on the leaderboards, apparently its some retarded glitch with soul sucking and/or soul dropping.

I hate the Insanity Catalyst. I expected the “drastically increase the strength of spells” to work on my enchant buffs too, so I created a character to test it out. Casting Light Weapon, it added a whopping 19 more attack rating than just casting it with a wooden catalyst. :annoy:
I think that overall the wooden catalyst is the best choice for highest magic power without sacrificing anything. I’m not a mage though, so I just use the talisman of beasts out of laziness.
Just bought this a day ago, fuck this game is hard! just like everyone says. How do you play with up to 4 people? I don’t get how that works exactly all i see is other people that are translucent and shiny running around. I do like the fact that people help you out with the messages on the ground. to return to your body, how many souls do you need to earn or do you have to beat one of those other lvls?
well really you can get 2 other people to help you, if you find there soul, which should look like a blue stone. If someone invades your world that would be a 4th person, though people can invade your world when ever they want and try to kill you.
To get your body back you can beat a boss, help someone else beat a boss, or use a Stone of Ephemeral Eyes.
To play with others you have to be in your body form and you can summon up to 2 Blue Phantoms who are in soul form to play with. Or you can be in soul form and use the blue stone and the player in body form can summon you.
If you are in body form a Black Phantom can invade your game for PVP.

Well so far I like this game a lot, I do die a lot to stupid stuff. Now I am in the 1-2 of Bolteria Castle or something like that, trying to get the fuck away from those stupid ass dragons:mad:
For all you new players, make double extra sure that you are connected to the internet when you play the 3rd section of the Tower of Latria (world 3). I won’t say anything more, but be sure to do it.
What happens is one of my favorite aspect of this game online.
Invading people is THE SHIT. I’ve been invading games the whole day trying to reach PBWT. It’s exhilarating to hide yourself in the shadows and wait for an opportunity to strike, especially when they’re almost at the end of the level. Feels so good when I know that I just ruined someone’s day. :smokin:
Question about New Game+, is it the same thing, just harder? Or does it also add like new enemies in different spots?
both, some of the new phantoms will be in NG+
Just killed Old King Doran using Poison Cloud. Now to take out False King in 1-4. I may plug him with arrows instead.
