Nothing is planned. They spoke with the producers about a sequel, and he said if there was enough interest he would do it. He said there were some ideas he had that they cut out that he would like to do.
To be honest, I would love it more if the game got a proper sequel rather than DLC. I was never really a fan of DLC anyways, I don’t think most DLC content on consoles is worth their price. Plus I would love to see new stuff in a DS2, new abilities, skills, more class distinguishing features, boss fights, etc. I’m all for a sequel, just tell me when I can preorder that shit, I have faith in From Software to deliver.
I wouldn’t mind if they released DLC for the broken archstone, it annoys me every time I walk past it. I assumed it would be repaired and opened for the endgame, but no. :lame:
Other than that there is absolutely zero need for DLC in this game, just make another one already.

New characters

Alright guys, finally got this game. I’m gonna play as a Knight. From the sounds of things I should drop some heavy armor for some leather pieces so I can be as quick as a Thief. I also am considering starting over as a Temple Knight cause he starts off with a healing spell, or a Thief because they look cool.
Two quick questions about 1-1: How do I get the Theif’s Ring? I noticed it on that corpse under the stairs, but I couldn’t figure out how to get to it. (I think that’s that ring, anyway.) Also, is it possible to get the Ring of Strength right off the bat near the Dragon’s nest?
It seems I need 10 in Faith to use Miracle’s. I bought a healing spell, set it but couldn’t use it. Is that all I need to use Miracle’s? This is the type of game I don’t want to mess up on at the beginning, I’d like to start off strong.
You need a talisman of god to cast miracles. You can find one in 4-1, to the right of the first fog gate, so even if you don’t think you can handle 4-1 yet just fight your way through to that point and snag it, then leave. There are like 6 skeletons along the path, wear the thief’s ring and lure them one by one (arrows are good for luring distant enemies without attracting the others).
Spells are the same way, except they need a catalyst (wand).
You can find the thief’s gear in 3-1, don’t bother restarting as a thief because it’s one of the weakest starting classes. It took me forever to get through 1-1 as a thief because I could die so fast.
Also I have heard that the healing miracles are pretty useless. I haven’t really tried them (or used a magic-based character) much, but I do know that it takes longer to cast a miracle than to eat a healing grass, and that the game throws healing grasses at you pretty regularly, and it doesn’t take too long before they become cheap and you can buy them by the dozens in the nexus.
Man I have a shit ton of healing grasses in my storage. Ever since I got the Adjudicator Shield and Regen Ring in 4-1, I rarely heal. I didn’t know about the light armor crap until a few days ago though when I decided to equip some of that Black Leather gear. I was flying! lol.
But seriously. What is the benefit of wearing all that heavy armor? Still die just as fast when you get hit.
I wouldn’t know, I have only used heavy armor on an early-game character. Right now I’m wearing the gloom torso piece and the arms and legs from Executioner Miralda’s armor, plus the female assassin’s mask. It puts me right at my 50% equip burden with a light shield, compound longbow, hiltless katana, and a knife or talisman of beasts. It looks pretty cool too.
My storage is full of grasses too with the exception of the rarer new moon and dark moon grasses, which I never use anyway because full moon grass still pretty much fills my HP entirely.
the health regeneration spell is hella good when you have a lot of miracle stat points…it regenerates your health SO fast, that shit almost cant kill you…works well if your dueling someone as well…
im not sure what weapon this dude was using it was some sort of dagger looking weapon, but it did absolutely NO damage to me, but he got lucky on a backstab and it killed me instantly like 1400 hp i was like WTF…i wonder if thats a special attribute to that dagger…

I know about world tendency. I was asking how I got to Pure White even though I only killed one boss, and Vocab explained it.
On a side note, I got lucky with World Tendency online again in World 4. I was able to get the Magic Sword “Mokoto” after only killing Adjucator (and I did the shortcut to him).
The ONLY thing that I wish this game had more of are Uniques that are rare enemy drops only (like the gargoyle crossbow). I hate that 99% of the items can just be found and are not on low drop %s. When you finally get the item from drops…it feels good.
Also, I haven’t beaten the game yet, but I heard that the last boss fight takes place in the broken archstone. You don’t enter the acrhstone, but the area is full of giant weapons.
It was probably a fatal dagger. Fatal weapons do massive damage on backstabs and ripostes. I have a fatal secret dagger+5 that I use sometimes, although more and more enemies are able to survive it in New Game+ so it doesn’t get much use anymore.
if i am a royal at level 29… should i have something other than the armor i started with? i honestly do not know how i’ve completed this much of the game without going crazy. i am trying to get PBCT to take down miralda in 1-1… but i have a feeling i need better gear. does anyone have any suggestions?

I don’t think you need it. I’m sure there’s better, but I personally am SL 74, with default armor. I only upgraded my shield, and weapons (purple flame shield, moon winged spear, vicious compound long bow, talisman of beasts). I also have never put a single point into HP and I’m getting through the game just fine
EDIT: I used the shortcut trick to get to 4-2 for soul farming, not that I needed it cuz I’m sure I could have gotten through it was just faster 
Using the ring of Avarice from 3-2 I was able to get up to SL 74. was progressing through world 3, and just beat it. Boss fight was a joke (again) so far the bosses were easy, and the stage itself was the hard part. Got the soul thirst spell, and now I’m gonna start farming even more :tup:
I think spears are too good, you can attack while blocking. Not just that the 2 handed attack with R2-x2 is like death. I owned everyone with just a +8 short spear and some magic power ups, beat the game in like 1 day
I beat Miralda with a Royal that I had only put two Magic soul levels into. You should be fine.

I’ve raped most of the game. Killed everything in 1/X except for the Blue Dragon which I’ll kill tomorrow, along with Miralda and eventually King Doran. I’m gonna have to look up where Miralda is, though. No damn clue, and I went back for that one sword. So I just found out where Miralda was…What the fuck? How did I not notice that shit, yet I got everything and saved everybody in 3/1? Goddamn.
I’ve cleared all of 2/X, pretty sure everything is dead there. I’ve done everything in 4/X, but I’ve yet to touch chapter 5, and right now I’m at the boss in 3/2.
How the hell do I upgrade weapons with boss Demon’s Souls? Do I need to fully upgrade certain weapons first before I get the option or something? This game is crack, btw. Food and sleep is secondary.
Certain weapons will need to be upgraded to a certain level (not always the MAX level) in order to be upgraded.
Check the Demon Soul’s wiki, it’s THE resource for stuff like this.
Just finished the game. I missed every World Tendency event, and the Old King. New Game+ was pretty fun, until Tower Knight killed me in one hit!
So, does anyone have the Plat other than HeaT or is going for it? World Tendecy+the fact the game needs to be cleared multiple times for the boss Demon’s Souls to acquire everything seems annoying.
