I hate you internet. Several times I have ended my DSII session. Shut off the console. Browse around only to end up turning back on my PS3. Got the Twin Blades and Pryomancy. Got more shards. I have to kill the Lost Sinner boss to de-petrify Straid. Lost Sinner is giving me a run for my money. He easily exceeds my attack range and leaps away a lot after and sometimes even before I can land a strike. I don’t recall who said it but now that I do think about it, yeah, he is right handed.

Are you having the same problem I am? I looked at my fast travel list yesterday and instead of seeing some of the locations, there were brown squares and the area names just said “???”. Not sure what’s going on.

I was on a media blackout for the game, and only just now am I seeing what the graphics were supposed to look like.

^ People are pretty pissed that the game shipped without the quality lighting and instead looks kind of washed out.
The builds with the “superior graphics” were all “running on PS3’s” according to Namco/From, then on release we get a game that looks nothing like what they were showing.
PC release is in a few weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if the graphics are any different for that version, or if Namco/From are even going to speak up about this.

^It is not that serious lol. Game probably ran line shit with that lightning so performance took priority. It’s 2014, who is really still having that much of a hard on about graphics anyway? Being fun and memorable is all that matters.

What? People are graphics whores. It’s why that term exists. People keep expecting these amazing graphics. You’ve got it wrong if you think otherwise. We all know a great game can have sub par graphics(God Hand) but in shallow society when people eat with their eye first, what do you expect?
And no doubt about it, that pre-release DSII looks SEXY. It actually embodies the darkness of Dark Souls.
Yeah, it is. This is like the Killzone 2 “gameplay” video Sony put out back in the day, then after the game released, it looked nothing like the “gameplay” video they put out and they got a huge backlash for it(and rightfully so.)
If I wasn’t on a media blackout, and the game looked nothing like the game they “demo’d on PS3 hardware” I’d be pissed. Namco/From demo’d that graphically superior game for all, made everyone think the game was going to look that way, then released a game that looks nothing like the one they showed, even though they said it was running on current-gen hardware with those graphics.
Let’s say SFV is about to release. They demo the game, you get to play it, they show you that the graphics are amazing and that Sean is a playable character. Game comes out a few weeks/months later, Sean is a DLC character and the graphics got scaled back. You wouldn’t be pissed?
