You know you are right, maybe I should just keep making spam post. Seems like everyone likes to promote trolls here and do nothing about it. Why cant we talk about dark souls. Hell lets not even talk about dark souls, lets all just keep making spam post, seems like the hipster thing to do on srk. Lets just change the name of this thread to SRK we promote trolls and dont like to talk about the topic
Fuck you Bell Gargoyles! Exhausting fight for my build, but damn that felt good landing the killing blow. :fight:
Same here, except I can’t wait to do a swordsman build on my next run. Magic, at least for me, was slow going at first. Can’t wait to try those areas again with some decent melee tactics and better health.
Yeah I started as a sorcerer as well and it was pretty rough in the beginning, nothing like the first game where sorcerer and pyromancer made the beginning areas somewhat trivial. Having only that dagger and no stats to effectively use a shield is pretty rough in the onset. A lot of the new spells are pretty interesting though, I’m curious how well mages will do in pvp.
Ive been backtracking alot of areas recently and I just found the ladder merchant while farming desert sorceress gear for rosabeth.
Kinda happy that I have access to some of the “shady” weapons but Im a bit disappointed with the claws and how from took away the rolling R1. That was pretty much the only redeeming quality in that weapon and its gone now. I really hope theres a unique version of it that still has the roll.
Alright so I made it through Blight Town for the most part. I worked my way to the sewers area past the bone fire down by the poison swamp. Scored a Firekeeper soul so was stoked about that. Then worked my way over to this mill with platforms that rise. I had a feeling this would take me back to the over land so I kept following up the ladders and low and behold it took me to the entrance to New Lando, I’d been there before so I was happy as hell. Quickly made my way back to Firelink to trade that Fire Keeper soul to power up my Estus Flasks only to find a fucking corpse behind the bars. She’s dead. I was hit with a double wammy to find that the Bonefire above is out to (which I guess makes sense as the woman was its physical manifestation or something to that effect?). Either way now I’m kind of annoyed cuz I had to run back into Undead Burg to replenish health and Estus, and I can’t use this Firekeeper Soul at the moment. Every time I’m feelin like I’m gettin a little ahead damn game kicks me down a flight of stairs, I swear to gawd lol.
Well anyway since I’m back in Undead Burg, probably gonna farm some souls and replenish my stock of poison healing items. Those jack asses with the blow guns ripped through my stock of flowering purple whatevers that cure Toxin so I don’t plan to go back down there till I have more. I know those guys don’t re-spawn, but I also don’t know how many more I’m gonna be running into either. I have a feeling I’m getting close to the boss so that’s cool.
Over all things where going pretty well till the end there lool.
you can save her if you do it right. it doesn’t seem like you did anor londo so you might want to do that next.
also, you can use the fire keeper soul in quelaag’s domain, talk to her sister, she can upgrade the estus flask for you. there’s only 1 firekeeper soul you shouldn’t use but i think you can figure out which one that would be
If you activated that elevator in Firelink that takes you to Undead Parish, you could go to the Darkroot Basin under the blacksmith and farm the plants there for Purple/White Moss.
Yea I plan to keep moving through the rest of Blight Town and get to wherever the fuck that goes. Will be happy to be done with that hell hole soon enough.
Cool to know I can revive her ass, will keep an eye for it. That Gold Knight (Lutrec i think?) was gone from his little resting spot at Firelink to, makin me suspicious of his fuckin ass, so will be lookin for him. Turn his ass into a soda can if he’s to blame!
Yea I was thinkin about doing that. WIll probably do that and use the souls earned there to buy up the rest of what they don’t drop. I’m not much in the mood to do too much farming. I want to get through Blight Town, have that shit hole behind me, and continue moving forward. Forward and onward as they say. I did buy the medallion from that blacksmith and used it on the door in Darkroot (found the Bonfire hiding there to, was like “SON OF BITCH!” when i found it considering i ran back to that spot like 10 fuckin times when trying to do the Moonlight Butterfly) and ventured into there. Some Knight and a Mage tried to kick my ass but I ran deeper into the woods and eventually found an armor set called Eastern Armor or something. That was a dope set, currently rockin that chest piece.
Also I gave the Blacksmith there (I think his name is Andre) an Ember and he can upgrade my weapons to +10 now. I have another Ember that he says will let him put fire on weapons to, but I dunno if I should give it to him or not, so I’m sitting on it at the moment.
You can give the Firekeeper Soul to Quelaag’s sister to upgrade your flask once you kill the Blight Town boss. To revive the Firelink Shrine Keeper, well I’ll let you decide if you want to spoil it for yourself or not below. Also, the blowdart snipers don’t respawn once you kill them, so if you don’t have the proper moss you can simply take one out at a time or at the very least do suicide runs to clear the area of them. Make sure to get the Rusted Iron Ring as well from the Asylum if you haven’t already, will allow you to run through the swamp/water without slowing down.

When you reach Anor Londo, use the Black Eye Orb in the room with the boss fog gate. You’ll invade Lautrec’s world as a phantom. Once you kill him you’ll get your Firekeeper back along with another Firekeeper Soul, plus the Ring of Protection and Favor (increases your health, stamina, and equip burden) plus Lautrec’s armor.[/details]
