Anyone else trying to Plat this game before Dark Souls 2 comes out? Going well so far… Got the 3 trophies for getting all the spells.

everyone should know the easy way to beat bed of chaos, 1 is every time you break one of his glowing roots just quit and reload the game, the other way is the firebomb trick.
I feel like Bious or someone else coined that term earlier in the thread.
The place in Anor Londo after killing the Batwing Demons and you have the Silver Knights are shooting the dragon slayer arrows at you.
Easiest way to beat BoC is to run up the middle till you’re at the center and just throw fire bombs at the 2 glowing roots, then just roll to victory.
The only thing I remember as being kind of difficult was getting a Channeler’s Trident to drop for the rare weapons trophy, and not having a good build to deal with the 4 Kings during NG+ Other than that is was a really easy platinum.
I beat Bed of Chaos on NG+ last night the old fashioned way… Didn’t think about quitting and reloading after destroying one of the cores.
I just need to get all the rare weapons, and fully upgraded weapon paths now. Not looking forward to having to farm for slabs.
Game takes about three goes to get everything so good luck I maxed everything on DKS in 3 so Goodluck.
Don’t sweat it too much, you’ll have to start a NG++ at the very least since you need 3 of Sif’s soul which should allow you to snag enough slabs. If you have the DLC you get an extra Titanite and Blue slab as well.
I’m stuck on King Allant (AGAIN) in my Thief playthrough. Anyone have any advice?

Get a good shield. He only has like 2 attacks you need to worry about with the rest easily blockable, and it’s just hit and run.

I think my mistake is that I’m trying too hard to avoid his attacks rather than block. Maybe I’ll try dat Purple Flame Shield.
This guy always ends up being my last Archdemon…
Only dodge his charging and jumping slash. Both of those will fuck you up if you block it.
Something I discovered while trying to kick him off the roof; if u bring him across the bridge and just outside the door (farthest u can, basically) he’ll backpedal allowing u to wail on him.
I was using that plague dagger and maybe a scimitar? Idk but I was doing shit damage and went for volume. Just make sure he doesn’t heal and still dodge his attacks.

Did you guys ever look up online guides and go for predetermined builds from your first playthrough or just wing it like me? Lol. All I ever looked up was to never invest in resistance and that certain things cap like vitality at 50 and so forth.
First playthrough of Demon’s and Dark Souls I didn’t look up anything.
I damn near watched a full playthrough of Demon’s Souls before I played it… For shame…:sad:
