If he’s not in his cell, then he should be in 4-2.
will do once im done with uncharted 2. looking at the wiki it seems that u should play offline when trying to do tendency. This seems to be for the eastern versions, and not the US version, but should it still be tried offline?
I just had my first encounter with a Black Phantom since I’ve been playing in Soul Form mostly throughout the entire game and I have to say, it really detracts having to interact with these people. I thought the game taught people to man up and just learn from your mistakes when you died, but rather I get multiple messages insulting me and accusing me of being a noob that 2 and 3v1s when I didn’t even summon any blues into my game when the person invaded. Can’t count, can’t PvP properly and throws a fit over a loss? As far as I know stats like that aren’t even tracked.
Sigh, it made me feel great to play this game until that happened and it honestly just makes me feel like shit now for beating someone that invaded me. How does that make sense? What happened to respect?
Yo, fuck them. They invaded your shit, so I don’t see why they should complain. It’s part of the game to go 3v1, so if they cant handle it. Then their whining losers.
Seriously. If they want to invade other people’s games, and it’s 3 against 1 (even though it wasn’t the case here), that’s their problem. Don’t hate the player…
These issues are known to exist in the US version as well. For World Tendency, play offline.
I’m trying to run across the bridge with the knights perched midway on top of a tower. I can’t get by with out getting fire spewed on me. I tried to time the sweeps but the dragon keeps getting me. Anyway to get by it? Will it respawn if killed?
You need to inch partway out onto the bridge so that the dragon makes an attack run, then sprint across the bridge right after it.
That’s the thing I tried that. Maybe I need to do it better.
If you are talking about location 1-1, what I did was step onto the bridge so that the dragon makes an attack run and kills the soldiers on the bridge. I then run back to the area where the two dragons were resting and wait there until the red dragon flies back and lands. Then I run back to the bridge and then immediately sprint across the bridge, ignoring the survivors that weren’t killed by the dragon.
If you are talking about location 1-2, it depends on which tower that you are talking about. If you are just exiting the area with the mini-phalanx and need to cross the bridge to the first tower, walk to the area at the beginning of the bridge until you get to a large pile of charred corpses. Wait there until the dragon flies down, and then immediately run right behind the dragon. If you are wearing heavy armor, take some of it off so that you can run faster.
If you’ve already reached the first tower and are trying to get across to the second tower, you actually should be going under the bridge (there are stairs along the side of the tower that can take you downwards).
The Red Dragon can be killed, and if you manage to kill it, it won’t come back (so that means you can travel back to 1-1 and loot the items it was protecting, just don’t get too close to the blue dragon). You can slowly kill the Red Dragon by going up to the top of the first tower and shooting at it with arrows. Depending on your stats, it can time quite a lot of arrows (it took me around 150 arrows to kill it).
If you’re magically inclined, drop a water veil onto yourself.
If you’re a warrior, your hit points should get you across.
A few points to address though:
Do you have the Cling Ring?
That fourth of your life bar will make all the difference if you get flamed.
Also, hop out onto the bridge and wait for the dragon to cry out, then dash back the way you came. This will incite him to raze the bridge with flame - killing off the enemies on it, and effectively giving you a clean path to make your mad dash through.
Once it’s cleared, then Sprint across that bridge until you have depleted like half of your stamina, then let up for half a second and get some back, then start dashing again. Once you’re within two or so rolls of the end - roll two three times to clear it.
so ive seen red glowing enemies, whats the deal with those??? they are enemies, the heavy knights, but with a red glow…

Black Phantom NPC enemies.
If you’re wearing heavy armor, take it off.
meaning?
just stronger versions of the normal counterparts??? better drops or what?

Stronger versions, better drops, etc.
Pure black world tendency will cause some more of them to spawn in certain places, they can be a good way to farm certain items and are typically worth a good chunk of souls when killed.
They are all quite easy 1v1 except for in 5-2. Honestly, Meat Cleaving Black Phantoms and the inability to roll is dumbfounding.
Heads up for anyone who didn’t know, some weapons only let you change their upgrade tree (sharp, crushing, crescent, sticky, etc) at a certain point. For example, I have been wanting to upgrade my compound longbow+8 to a sticky longbow for a while now, but it wouldn’t let me. Apparently you can only do that with a compound longbow+3, so I had to get a new one and upgrade it to +3 first. For all i know all the weapons might work like this and I just didn’t notice, so just be aware (if you weren’t already) and consider using the wiki from time to time.
Yeah, I noticed this while I was upgrading my bow. I’m wondering what kind of weapon I can make once my Kilij is maxed out.
yo, another question…i have that purple heart shield which requires 22 strength, however im playing a mage, so i only have 12 strength, however i can still equip the shield but it says i cant use it to its potential…and then on the hud there is some orange writing that warns me i havent met the requirement…so whats the deal with that, whats the disadvantage with a shield???
