Remember that cliff where you walked up after leaving the tutorial area, where you get snatched up by a giant ass crow?
Look around the ledges to the right a bit before the edge of the cliff where you got snatched up and there should be a small birds nest. You’ll then hear a voice from Kami who happens to be an annoying talking crow named Snuggly, asking you to drop something warm and shiny. Snuggly basically trades with you for specific items.

Giving Artorias’ soul gives you just her weapons. Killing her gives you her armor and weapons.

Gold tracer is an amazing dex weapon and easy to max upgrade. Supposedly it beats Chaos blade in dps or somewhere along the lines.
Yea. The tracers are like the only daggers worth using.
The gold tracer is a curved weapon like a Falchion/Qualaag’s firesword. Except it’s literally a Falchion + Bleed and sparkly gold trails. So it makes a very good pve weapon. PVP too but you have to be careful since curved weapons are easy to parry.
I think even the game knows you’re a dick; they already put Ciaran’s Hornets ring right next to Artorias’ grave ahead of time knowing that you went back in time and killed her.

Crest shield is amazing for that fight. You can block the magic attacks without worry and the command grab does significantly less damage just for having it on your back.
If you managed to summon beatrice for the moonlight butterfly fight, she’ll help a shit load for the 4kings fight.
Otherwise, get a summon to help out if you can.

I really doubt that From Software will alienate the vast majority of their fanbase by remaking the gameplay for casuals, especially if they are paying any attention at all to the feedback and speculation that ONE INTERVIEW has stirred up. No worries there.
I’m expecting something more like a more in-depth tutorial and more explanations. And possibly more cut scenes.
