Demon's/Dark Souls Thread. Dark Souls II!

lol good luck getting summons on the way to Artorias and the following areas without getting a fog door and a invasion as soon as you zone into the area.

Can’t even warp into those areas without instantly getting a fog door lol.

Summons are for people who are bitchmade

I wouldn’t blame them if it’s NG++++++++ Snorlax & Pikachu or 4 kings. Never tried Artorias NG+ but he was amazingly aggressive already.

Good point.

Pika and Snorzez was way easier on my second playthrough, for some reason. Didn’t even need Solaire.

Damn, that Sanctuary Guardian though…that boss was harder than any of the enemies in Vanilla.

Good luck trying to kill 2 at the same time then rofl. Too bad the weapon you get from cutting his tail was subpar.

yeah…no.

Seriously? Fuck…

I just fought Artorias. Wow that was just an awesome fucking boss.

The chick I’m talking about is from the disc, not dlc.
And yeah. I was browsing the Add-On Content from M$ and didn’t see it.

Awesome rejoinder.

Care to elaborate a proper rebuttal?

Alright… THIS is how you fucking make DLC for your game. This is the most magnificent game addition ever.

That alternate cutscene if you go to fight him in the present after you’ve done something in the past… Imminent tears.

Prepare to cry edition

Wizardry is to Final Fantasy as a whisky on the rocks is to a bottle of yoohoo.

This is sort of true…

But I’d argue the best iterations of each stack up rather evenly.

Then again, I think Wizardry 8 is the best one, hands down.

Flamestrike’s mod, ftw.

I know, but I wasn’t sure if you were asking how to make her appear or like, how to summon her into a boss fight.

It should be there…try finding it on the actual website on a computer.

I just read someone calling Dark Souls a “3D free-roaming Ghouls’n Ghosts” man that is so perfect.

I’d say Ghosts 'n Goblins.

Because Ghouls was kind of tame, comparatively.

I never DID beat Ghosts.

So, more in regards to Havel’s story…I found something interesting.

I just finished killing the Moonlight Butterfly again, but this time I read the item description for the Watchtower key you get nearby. Take a look at what it says.

The basement of the watchtower forms a stone
cell. There are rumors of a hero turned
Hollow who was locked away by a dear friend.
For his own good, of course

So…I’m thinking that once Gwyn learned of Havel’s deceit, he killed him and turned him hollow. Could this “dear friend” that locked him away be Artorias? Maybe Solaire before he lost his memory?

That’s possible, but your guess is as good as mine.

It would be quite sad, really. Artorias, consumed by the madness of the abyss (also, it seemed like his arm was broken. What’s up with that?) and Havel, driven hollow. Such a hopeless story.

It’s said that Gwyn had a son that had a strange fixation with the moon, and therefore he was raised as a daughter. My guess is either that:

A:This son is Artorias.

B:The son could be Solaire. I mean, it makes sense. Gwyn could have erased his memory and put some kind of spell on him, forcing him to have that obsession with the sun instead of the moon.

That son you’re talking about is Gwyndolin.
