The first boss, the Taurus Demon at the beginning of the game - he killed me by knocking me off the bridge, but his after-swing animation caused him to fall off too.
Smoothest boss kill ever.
Hope that was your first playthrough, because you shouldn’t be dying to that guy after you learned how to beat him the first time.
Bodied the Taurus Demon. Used Gold Pine Resin for more damage. So yeah, I picked this up today and my Demon’s Souls skill obviously kicked in. Grinding for souls to buy arrows so I can get the Drake Sword. It’s a bit tedious but I’m pretty much running up to the bridge where the dragon is, have him kill everyone on the bridge, get the souls, and run back to the bonfire to have the slain enemies respawn and repeat. Tedious indeed…
Starting class was Pyromancer because I love my flames. Shame I had to drop my starting gear for stat superior gear. Starting gear looked kinda cool.
With new characters I just shoot him so he comes down, chop his tail off and pray he doesn’t burn me to a crisp. Not anywhere near as safe, but much faster.
starter armor ends up being some of the best light armor when fully upgraded to +10
though the material for +10 is rare and you will get lazy and stop at +9, which is still pretty good

I dropped my armor off somewhere. Died and it’s gone forever.
Wuh? Why would you drop armor? It doesn’t cause encumbrance or anything, as far as I know, unless you’re wearing it
I just didn’t want to carry a bunch of shit. Anyway, I feel foolish. I grinded enough to get 300+ arrows… I thought I needed that much to take off the tail. Nope. I only needed a handful of arrows to shoot of the tail. Could have been leveling up the whole time.
There’s boxes you can drop your crap off at the bonfire once you buy it from the vendors. The only point is to make your inventory look really nice though. I believe you can find another starting set somewhere else in the game.
As early on as he is, he might as well just restart, and do shit right, nest time.

About to finish NG+. I can almost taste that Platinum trophy.
I was worried I would get wrecked by the last boss, but being summoned in and nearly solo’ing him, I should be fine.
1.05 is neat. Crystal Ring Shield blows now, as expected.
Gravelord Covenant still kinda sucks. People can still use Red Orb to invade you instead of using your gravelord sign. Seems farming Eyes is still faster via basilisks than via people.
My game was bugged pre-1.05, I didn’t get a Sunlight Maggot and the one that drops it only spawns one. Installed 1.05, looked at my inventory and magically there’s a Sunlight Maggot.
I just shot giant tit woman in her right breast with one arrow from my short bow and she died 
That’s her weak point.

Speaking of which, is it true the Forest Covenant and Darkmoon no longer have lower lvl restrictions on who they invade?
I hope so cause if there’s no restriction on invading people HIGHER than you, then there shouldn’t be a lower limit either.
