Blighttown is the most annoying place in the game IMO. I remember the first time i got there… TOXIC and i was scared shitless since i didn’t have any white moss and since i had alot of souls and humanity on me… How did i make it out? Homeward bone , LOL.
Anyways… I have a lvl 121 sorcerer (a pretty strong one too!) And i’m playing NG+. At first i was kind of excited thinking that i would kick all invaders ass and if i decided i wanted to invade someone i’d kick ass there too … But then i read that max lvl is 713 … Guess if i felt sad or not , LOL.
He’s an NPC that is essentially fodder for Iron Golem to swing at while you try and cut his achilles’ tendon
I just so happened to be non-hollow which is rare (I’m a Demon’s Souls player, and I have tendency built into me now so I naturally kill myself so I don’t go to pure black. Habit I seriously can’t break out of) and ran across his summon spot and was like, what the hell, why not. He took some good hits!
It was the NPC that actually knocked the boss off the platform, which was quite a surprise. I wonder if there are any more special ways to kill bosses?
Iron Tarkus is a hidden NPC in Sen’s Fortress too if you guys didn’t know. He sells some unique armor sets and items. Past him is a key that lets you unlock Big Hat Logan’s cell in Sen’s Fortress which is another hidden NPC in that level as well.
I just smacked him first and fought him in the open area, no hand tricks, no rock hiding. He never used his fire breath attack, so I guess I got lucky.
Also that sounds like something out of la blue girl.
I think I missed her on my first playthrough. I researched the hell out of the Dark Souls wiki site and asked questions in the 24/7 chat there or in this thread when I needed to know something. I had to get everything in this game, it’s one of those few RPG’s where I felt the need to have a “perfect” save file. You miss out on some miracles Rhea sells, but you can kill Petrus and get a unique tailsman that the bastard stole from Rhea after he killed her.
Haha, I always keep him alive to buy shards in my playthroughs. I kill him everytime I decide to enter a NG+ though.
After you buy all of Rhea’s stuff, if you have the Dark Hand of Kaathe I think it is(lets you suck humanity out of NPC’s) you can hit Rhea with it like 20+ times for 20+ humanity, THEN kill her and you’ll get like 15+ humanity. This is awesome to do at the end of the game to all NPC’s as an easy way to have a shitload of humanity for a NG playthrough.
She never died in my game (currently on NG+), she just stayed there. I went around looking for all the NPCs before I beat the game and was surprised that she was still there. You can also kill Petrus and save her I guess.
Yep, only way to keep her alive after she spawns at the church is to kill Petrus. If Petrus isn’t at Firelink then it’s too late or something from what I remember.
To guarantee she stays alive, after you save her from the Tomb of the Giants, kill Petrus right away.
