That AOE is Wrath of God. It’s pretty good because of it’s range and cast time. Not sure if you can block it in PvP though.

Im finally enjoying Demon’s Souls. Last night I killed some beast called Leechmonger or something like that. He wasnt really so hard. Now im trying to kill this beast that looks like the Balrog from Lord of the Rings. He just destroys me though. I tried to go and see if I could slay me them dragons that I saw but, alas, they just own me. I think I need a bow to kill them but I dont have one and I dunno where to get one. I have a crossbow but no bolts and that shit is just too expensive to buy from a vendor.
If I recall correctly, you can get a Compound Longbow in the first area of Shrine of Storms (the fourth archstone); it’s on a corpse next to one of the archers on the top of the gates.

Furysword and other chaos weapons scale off humanity. You need something like 30 humanity for it to be doing full damage.
As long as you’ve been getting all the Demon Titanite you can, you should have enough to +4 it as soon as you hit Anor Londo. You can +5 it once you hit the farming spot in Lost Izalith.

Right on man, thanks for the info. I did find a bow there, it took me a bit of looking around but the bad dudes werent so hard there. At least the ones I encountered. So I bought me like 500 arrows and upgraded the bow a few times. Now im off to see whats up with them dragons.
Motherfuckin’ cowardly ass dragon. I shot the fuck out of that beast and had it down to about 1/4 life and it took off. It doesnt look like its coming back either. Chicken shit bastard.

Well, the dragon took off so after about 10 minutes of waiting for it to come back I decided to come in and post about how it took off. Its not like I have to walk across town to get to my computer.
Anyhow, I slew that beast. I just went to the wall that it would fly over and burn everything as it passed and shot it some more. Im not sure, but should I just use the soul I got from the dragon or should I save it? I dont want to use it for souls then find out later that it can be used to do something in the game.

I believe the Humanity boosts cap at 10. It scales with Dex too so, upgrade that for more damage. Mine is at +4 atm but, I don’t use it because the Lightning Uchigatana is too good. That combined with the Crystal Ring Shield is broken as fuck…lol. When 1 shot from the shield took off half of Smough’s health, I was like o_O then I was like ^_____^.
I haven’t played Demon’s Souls in a while but, according to the Wiki, the Dragons’ souls aren’t useful for anything but a ton of souls. 10000 for the Red Dragon and 30000 for the Blue.

I’ve found a new favorite weapon in Lightning Bandit’s dagger. Several quick swipes here and there and you get free bleed damage on top of ridiculous lightning damage. If I’m feel like I’m getting close to the bleed threshold, I switch it out for Priscilla’s for even bigger bleed damage.
Yeah, I kind of figured that the dragons soul was just to get mad souls with after I took a look at another soul that I got that tells me that it can be used to make spells or weapons or used to upgrade weapons.
