Hillary herself made at least 21.7$ million from only speaking fees. This puts her in at least the top 0.2% of wealth in this country.
When Hillary says GoldmanSachs paid her 675,000$ because “that’s what they offered”, it’s a lie.
Speaking fees ran a minimum of $225,000 in 2013. She doing speeches and raking in dough until March 9th, 2015. She announced officially on April 12th 2015.
If she was running and/or admitted to running for President, collecting these speaking fees would be illegal. Technically, she didn’t announce until she stopped doing these speeches, but she was also preparing her campaign. I think with scrutiny, one has a chance of passing a court of law on ethics violations.
At best, she is greedy. I think what is likely is, this is a tit for tat with every corporation she gave speeches for.

she still might win the democratic nomination mainly because of feminism giving her the small edge, she already has the largest unions, minority backing, and big corporations on her side. If she wins because of feminism that would be three strikes against woman sufferage.

What’s absolutely fucked up right now is that Hillary is considered to win by default because, get this, almost every party superdelegate is supporting her. That means, even if every primary gave them an equal amount of candidates, Hillary would win because “they” want her to. Sanders has to not only overcome Hillary, but most of the Democratic party backing her too.
And to top it off, the DNC defends this as protecting their candidates from “grassroots activism”. If Hillary wins, irreparable damage will be done to the party’s image among younger voters, and may eventually lead to a collapse in 30-50 years as people refuse to vote for a rigged party. They will end up in 2056 what Republicans are in 2016.

Well more younger people voting isnt really going to change a whole lot how one might think. Whats going on right now are primary elections and caucuses, of which do not determine the candidate, bernie or hillary, but how many delegates they get, and those delegates, based on whatever they feel like basing their vote on, vote on behalf of you for their presidential nomination.
Its kind of a charade to an extent, and most american voters dont really understand the nomination process at all. I wouldnt be surprised if 70 percent of the people who vote in primaries, dont understand they arent casting a vote for the presidential nominee at all.
Typically a candidates delegates stick to their guy or girl, but they arent obligated to. Then there is the addition of super delegates by the democratic party. These individuals can cast their vote how they want, and arent obligated to give a fuck about their states trend towards a specific candidate.
Bernie destroyed hillary in new hampshire, and still lost the delegate race. He had 13, and she came out with 15. Hillary also has a mountain of super delegates on her side. So even when she gets landslided in new hampshire, the super delegates can hop in and say nope, we cast our vote for hillary.
The primary elections at least on the democrat side, is ironically fairly undemocratic, and filled with a bunch of political bullshit as usual.
