Mago just did a triple perfect against Alioune in freeplay.
Mago does that +/-400dmg combo like it is nothing…
Guess it was a ft25, mago won 25-11.
theres only a single 1 frame link in that combo the stand hp after chicken wing. nothing special. its very rewarding tho. very very rewarding.
you know whats amazing. that unblockable jump hk. (i believe it is). and the corner mind games jump mp (reversal safe, not sure if its a crossup) or jump mk crossup land behind OR jump lk land front.
and Mago OS Rekka in all his bnbs. MAD!
i think i need to revise my matchup rating vs fei long.
I know it is “just” one 1 frame link, but he believe he missed it maybe once(?) in 36 matches and he always went for it. If you look at the other Fei players they either do not even dare to do it or miss it (like evans just now :P).

Actually he had to fadc arrow a couple of times because he missed a link, not sure if it was this specific combo.
Anyway, there were indeed other things that were pretty impressive.

i feel that sako knows he can win. but just trolls and goes for some weird decisions like picking Rose again in Grand Finals Reset, not only that, but picks U1 instead.
Sako could’ve won.

He wanted to keep Cammy but he couldn’t because of the rules of the tournament. He had to keep his main character (here Rose) until he loses to counterpick.
I think he picked U1 by mistake too. 
I guess that would make sense why he picked Rose again and Ultra 1… Too bad the canon spike came out instead of strike (at least i think that this was his intention…) when he had Tokido cornered. Anyway, it was an exciting tournament.
i don’t think they have this kind of rule. you can go back and watch the entire record stream. people change characters randomly all the time. they don’t force you to pick certain character. example, that Sendo vega player against Alioune in winner top 8. He didn’t start with vega. I saw him use blanka in pool play.
that 400 damage combo mago did is pretty hard to pull it off in a real match. in fact, I only see mago did it consistently, other fei long in that tournament never able to do that combo.

either tokido lied(high level), both sako, tokido don’t know the rule, or other players break the rule.
other players had no problem with switching character in the first game of the set. your link just proved that.
watch sendoh picked blanka in 1:11:00, then he picked vega later against Alioune.
anyway. I though EU has a top tier rose player. I was surprise that Alioune can’t deal with Rose’s rush down game. i though Alioune’s Cammy was going to beat Sako’s rose. Rose dazzles cammy is pretty hard to do.

Just go and search for the rules of the tournament. I really don’t care but he didn’t choose to pick Rose.
Alioune messed his match imo, he messed his os to ultra, and Sako’s Rose was godlike, far better than Luffy’s Rose. You can’t judge on only 2 matches anyway because anything can happen.
but i did lol pretty hard when alioune lost to sako 2-0 after art kept saying that rose has got no chance against cammy.
