I’m pretty much hooked on Degrassi & I also watch South of Nowhere. They’re both good imo. Haven’t seen any of Instant Star yet.

Sadie from Instant Star= Pantheon Tier. Not even top tier, that would be degrading. I’ve been harping that since day 1. But it wasn’t until season 2 she reached Pantheon level.
I grew bored with the 3rd season of Instant Star. 1st season was alright, 2nd was pretty good. Halfway through the 3rd, I started to kind of lose interest. Particularly after they killed off the rocker girl and them having love triangles with the same 3 characters.
Degrassi is still good, I like season 6. To me season 5 was a let down. It was like they pulled names out of a hat, then pulled “problems/issues” out of a hat, and boom. Episode. To me Degrassi PEAKED with the school shooting. It jumped the shark immediately after with the Paige/Mr. O story.
i think degrassi peaked when paige got raped and jumped when jimmy got shot.

and lots of characters have asked to be written of degrassi, but the producers always end up throwing them a bag of money to come back for a few episodes (ie craig, sean & ashley).

I used to watch degrassi and SON every now and then. It’s a shame that the episode that got me into degrassi was the episode when Manny first started acting all slutty. That bitch is just too damn broken. Oh and Alex is fine too. They killed her relationship with Paige a little too quick. I mean I knew it wasn’t gonna last, but damn.
As for SON, lesbian relationships are always good. Ms. Mungrave is fire too. Her and the chick that plays Spencer need to makeout more on the show. The-n be acting like they’re scared to show them together.

They all wear makeup, it’s TV. Back when Alex was an extremely minor character and was on screen for like 10 seconds, she was still killing everyone. Her makeup represents her change in character, not the producers trying to make her attractive, like Paige.

i swear to god i saw a girl who was a dead on lookalike for ashley…i swear it might have been her. it was at a club in worcester mass…she had stars on her back…if anyone can find out if ashley has stars on her back in real life id love you. cuz i really believe it was her.

how is JT your favorite character? his dialogue is like an amalgamation of every uncool cheesy thing that a person could say. like i’m never going to canada just bcuz i’m afraid that i’ll run into people that actual speak like that.
