Viscant plays almost identically as me, I’ve never seen a DJ use pretty much the same style as I do. I’ve seen replays from most all the top US and Japanese DJ players and none of them play quite the same style that I do.
It’s pretty apparent that Viscant hasn’t spent too much time with DJ in AE because he wasn’t using a couple things that would of helped him out, but he played super solid.
Great stuff from Viscant. He could of won that match against ClakeyD had he not missed a couple opportunities.
There’s Viscant at Revelations. He just lost to Clakey D’s Ibuki. Ex mgu upper mashed is -9… =(
Viscant is playing Deejay at ReveLAtions. Doing a pretty nice job representing.
I got one small tip for him. STOP MASHING EX MGU ON BLOCK. it makes the recovery worse.
needs better block strings too.
What’s the recovery when not mashed because I’m thinking he’d rather take a HK for 100 damage or whatever than have less recovery but be in range for a st.lp into EX legs or something for way more damage and a wakeup situation.
on no mash, its -5, but the pushback makes it safe. even from ibukis jab.
with mash its like -9. the pushback is still there, but Ibuki can get a DP easy. I forgot if her st.MK will reach. it barely pushes back anymore than non mash.

I’ve been struggling in the training room with fadc combos and dash U1 and 2. I couldn’t believe that it was this hard, then I tried it with my old beat up SE stick and it was easy. I need a new joystick. I wasted so many hours of frustration lol. So I guess I will continue to play DJ super style until my new parts arrive. I wonder how long my joystick has been bad. So many hours… geesh
