Ya, i kinda share the same opinion. Me and my friends use to play MVC3 from 3pm-3am straight every tuesday, however right now we just got our hands on MK9 and we’re enjoying it a bit. It was getting tiring playing mvc3, however it’s still fun just not as it was during the start.
I think it’s because of our age now a days, since we’re in our 20’s (early-mid-late)m where games just don’t have that big of an effect on our interest as it did back then. Or another reason is because (well, a reason not fully agreed on maybe) is the lack of popular characters that made the series great (strider, jin, commando, cable…) there could have been allot of good/fun teams to use with these guys given the format/balance mvc3 has. Nothing new has been going with mvc3 except for patches while new games with loads of new things to get are out (mk9, then there is LoL, all that shit). To total it up, i want to play MK9 more than MVC3 next week.

With me it has been the opposite, I’ve been playing MvC3 more than any other game right now, and I find that the faster pace of the game is making me better at SSF4 and BlazeBlue. Haven’t tried MK9 yet so who knows what my opinion will be then

New game came along that I’m interested in learning. I’m pretty confident in my skills in mvc3, not saying I’m the greatest but I win the majority of my matches (on and offline). I’m simply on to the next challenge.

MvC3 is not TvC3. It’s not even TvC2.
It’s TvC 0.7. A downgrade. Still somewhat fun, though.

I lost interest in MvC3 and all fighting games about a month after I bought former. I was going to just wait on SSFIV AE but I was expecting some characters that were, you know, at all interesting to be announced. So there you go buddy,hope you feel better!!!
TvC is much worse Burst into infinite then to another Burst to another infinite.

In a way, I wish they would port it to 360. The Wii’s netcode is just straight up God-awful sometimes. I know it wouldn’t be significantly better on 360, but at least people with better connections might be playing.
