On Topic: This game looks terrible even if it does work, but because of the interest I’d really love to see what people that care about making the game playable are able to do with it. Personally, I’d rather see people making chainsaw incident into a playable game but these developer responses are just too tasty to let things die.

It’s 100% true though, the fans have fixed numerous amounts of bugs on their own.
FromSoftware wasn’t a PC studio in the first place. I think the huge support fans gave to the PC version of Dark Souls taught them a little importance about getting their shit together on the PC platform. Dark Souls 2 is a huge step in the right direction, and at least fans haven’t had to fix basic things like resolution and frame rate.
Meh, I just want fans to fix it and upload it free for everyone. I don’t care about “gamers” attitude or any other kind of ridiculous crap; I just want to play the game. Nothing else matter. There will always be good and bad devs, you can’t change anything about it.
I agree. I was saying that, in an effort to fix what may be the only build for a while, someone could try to make it enjoyable. I completely agree with you. Companies shouldn’t knowingly release subpar products and expect the fans to fix it. But for this situation, where people spent money and invested time downloading it, I assumed there would be someone who would want to make their waste of money at least somewhat usable. Hell, I’d do it myself if I had the knowledge.

I don’t think they intended anyone to fix it. I’m willing to bet that they thought their DRM was amazingly coded and no one would ever hack the game.
Everyone knows they just wanted more time to patch the glitches so the game looks more polished. Why they keep coming up new excuses I don’t know, they must a compulsive lying disorder or something
