Then they could just say that. A simple blog post or even a Facebook post would let everyone know that the game was still a thing that was being taken seriously. They made the trailer, they could’ve released screenshots every once in a while (it doesn’t even have to be daily like Sakurai, even bi-weekly or monthly would suffice) to keep people’s interest. When a developer doest that, they don’t have to worry about putting out fucked up broken demos to try and appease people.
There is STILL no proof of a full game, only a buggy demo, like I said before. We still don’t know if the game is even remotely close to completion and yet they are allowing people to spend their money to purchase this.
I honestly believe this is how the scam works. The game was never finished, at all, they’re gonna eventually give all their customers this incomplete buggy demo and just vanish with the cash.
