I doubt that there’s code for blocking in the demo at all. Actually, it looks like the other guy has time to recover from hitstun after the second hit of the 3-hit dial-a-combo. We can only speculate. I was just trying to point out something amusing. Spinfist->spinfist cancels may or may not have been intended. I’m almost sure that air attack->special cancels were not.
What gets me is that you can hit a grounded opponent. Why would they even bother to add hitboxes for that? Do they have some kind of a plan for OTGs, or what?
I really hope they change those floaty jumps, though. That alone would stop me from playing the full version. Aside from that, there’s some potential right there.
The Death Cargo website has been updated with the reveal of the most inexplicable character yet: Crystal, the male prison inmate with the name and haircut of a 9-year-old girl: http://www.necrostorm.com/games/deathcargo/character.html
To show the game is real, they need a real demo. Not an alpha version of Mugen with whatever art assets they have as characters. I don’t even trust these guys enough to download an executable from this website right now. What is this shit?
I was too overwhelmed with shame at my tardiness to comment earlier… but if no one else has anything to add, I’ll say this: they are really pushing the limits of character designs that don’t look anything like they are supposed to be for a fighting game. Although he does remind me of Mondu from Slaughter Sport.
I’m genuinely surprised anyone bothered to give this game notice.
I saw it occasionally come up on /v/ as a troll. I gave it a look and I can say I don’t like anything about it, not counting the fact the media they put out there seems stupidly fake.
I suppose I can be the first to unveil the very newest new character. A hollow victory indeed. Please don’t infract me for bumping a thread nobody gives a damn about!
It’s a blonde who shows an absurd amount of cleavage. She’s seriously in danger of falling out of her blouse at any moment. There, that ought to revive some interest.
You know, I think this story has some promise if they pull it off right.
-Agent Malcom’s going straight for Nova’s ass
-Nova’s trying to help Hankei (allegedly) take over the world or w/e, but first has to overcome Morbo and Silent. Hankei may have ties to Squalo, if Squalo’s in on the Hankei society it would explain how the Hankei knew where the death cargo was landing
-Squalo is going to then have to deal with Plasma and Toxic, and maybe Malcom.
that’s where the focus of the plot is going to be I think. All the other conflicts will be secondary. However, we don’t know Amazing or Squalo’s plot yet so theres still a chance for it to thicken.
