looks like i was wrong all along.

Game mechanics are wonky, that maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay be fixed later on. Doubtful
Animations/models look like ass, and that will not be fixed.

This game is pretty cool. I hope they finish it. It seems that the character Plasma is “missing” a ton of moves though. All of the buttons should have crouching versions and air versions. Maybe they should also add some “toward/forward” versions of normals. Also “Plasma” need to be able to jump higher, over the opponent.

Once they add advanced features like crossover jumps and trows to the game, it should be fine.

Seriously, I feel the hype. In other news, you can cancel jump attacks into specials in the demo, allowing some really goofy things to happen. You also may not have noticed the second Super bar behind the life bar – it’s for powering Lightning Legs (mash 4). I’m really enjoying this thing, god help me.

The demo feels like they were testing things out, aside from proving that this game is legit. Perhaps hit detection, frame animation, etc. I’m not myself that impressed with the demo, but any judgment about the gameplay at this point comes off rash to me.

Okay, here’s something to be concerned about.

So they’re blaming the demo slowdown on the fans? Get out of town.

My biggest problem with this “demo” is not being able to see my grimdark character sprite against the grimdark backdrop.

It runs really slow too, but my computer is pretty ass.

I tried capping some footage but fraps doesn’t like that game for some reason. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

BTW, the demo runs perfectly for me but my computer is sort of new. 1GB graphics card with a i3 dual processor.

No way. We need to hound this shit now in a way the makers can hear it and know what to change if they want our money.

What? Why would the demo not run on their engine? That’s not a possibility at all.
And I don’t think anyone complained about lack of features but more the fact the game controls as well as Clay Fighter.

they already stated that this is not a real demo, it was something made only to show that the game is real, they would release the true demo later this year

So for their not real demo then went ahead and coded completely differently?
Also what bad will complaining about functional problems become? Letting them know that how say, jumping attacks function is in everyone’s best interest. It’s important we get a game we want to play, and for them to have a game we want to buy while still being in line with whatever they are trying to do. It’s not like we are boycotting the game.

They should of called the demo a proof of concept.

Well I’m eating shit right now. Plasma is still ugly as fuck.

How can you tell it’s an infinite if there is no autoblock function in the trainingmode? I certainly can’t tell if the opponent is still in blockstun.

By looking at the frames. It wouldn’t make sense that you could block during the stumble animation.

You can in MK. So, why not in this?
